Card Recipe:
Image - Easter Accessories
Sentiment - Ticket Sentiment Set
Paper - Sweet Nectar by K and Co
Medium - Copic Markers
Flowers- Martha Stewart
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Butterfly Punch - Martha Stewart
Pearls - Bridal Dept
Rhinestones - Treasures by Shabby Chic
Die Cut - Spellbinders
Doily - Wilton
I printed out the image 3 times and cut out and popped up a whole basket and then just the bow, an easy technique but I think it adds so much more to the finished piece. I thought the punch looked a little like a cross between a fence and a row of flowers and it's ornate look works well against the simplicity of the image.
A few pearls and rhinestones and I was done!
I hope you like it.

It's Wednesday so it means another challenge here at The Pixie Cottage!
As always we have 2 parts to the challenge and you can choose either or both to play along with.
We have a fabulous sketch and our theme this week is "Stitching", you do machine, hand or even faux stitching, all work!
I decided to do a little altering this week instead of a card and so I decorated a box.
I took the hinges and lock off before covering it with paper and then added the embellishments. All the edges are inked and I used Creative Inspirations Paint in Fairy Dust for sparkle.
Card Recipe:
Image - At The Corner Of by ARTish and Tilda With Hat
Paper - - K and Co McKenna
Medium - Copic Markers
Fabric Brad - Heidi Grace
Butterfly Punch - Martha Stewart
Pearls - The Paper Studio
Trim - Hobby Lobby
Lace - Offray
Ribbon - Offray
Roses - Wild Orchid
Box - Darice
Remember you can use the sketch or the optional technique or both!
I paper pieced Tilda's dress and added paint to her wings.
I made the rosette flower and then spritzed it with Smooch Spritz in Spun Sugar, I added Spritz to the Butterflies too.
This would make a great Mother's Day gift or for a special birthday.
I hope you've enjoyed this :)

Image - Kitty Katastrophe by Kenny K
Paper - SEI Chick A Doo
Medium - Copic Markers
Ribbon - Hobby Lobby
Rhinestones - Michales $1 spot
Pearls - The Paper Studio
Stickers - SEI Chick a Doo
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
It was so easy to "shine and shimmer" up this little cutie, bling on her boots, silver pen accents, pearls and more.
I really love these images, different from what I usually do but so much fun!
I hope you enjoyed her too and will come along to Cooking It Up With Katie and "Get Your Bling On!"

It's time for a new theme challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar and this week we'd love to see your Easter projects!
So grab the bunnies, chicks, eggs and go and create!
Card Recipe:
Image - Caring Kaela
Paper - Ducks in a Row by October Afternoon
Medium - Copic Markers
Ribbons - Offray and Michaels
Embossing Folder - Sizzix
Die Cut - Spellbinders
Butterfly - Michaels
Sentiment - Studio G
Kaela looks so cute in her Easter dress with the baby chick and I really liked coloring her. The butterfly is a floral accent and I trimmed the back on the body flat so it would lie flatter on the card.
The Easter eggs were made from balloon punches that I trimmed to make into eggs. The cute little bunny stamp was a $1 stamp and the super gathered ribbon was on clearance at Walmart, I'm always on the look out for a crafty bargain!

It's time to get messy again with a new recipe at Cooking It Up With Katie!
We have one of my favorite sponsors this week and that is Meljen's Designs! Melissa draws such sweet characters and it is always a pleasure to work with them.
The ingredients for your card are:
Use an Animal
Add plenty of Color
Finish with a few Buttons!
This is such a cute image.
I really love too the gathered style ribbon, it reminds me of little girls dresses, all pretty and frilly!
We'd love to see you playing along with us at Cooking It Up With Katie!
Also the book was featured on Colorbok's Blog!. Thanks so much!!!!
It's time for another Vintage style mini book and I really love this one!
It is 6" by 6" and I used my Bind It All to bind it and added ribbon to all the rings.
Each page is inked as well as all the mats. I also added faux stitching.
The book is based entirely on the fabulous Colorbok Flea Market range, from the papers to the sentiments, handmade flowers and punched doily style mats.
Some of these I cut to create decorative corners, cool eh?
I really hope you like this one as much as the other I posted.

It's Friday and that means the team over at Card Ideas are showcasing some of the latest releases from Designed 2 Delight
I chose to use this gorgeous little cutie, his name is Drew and he is Kaela's little brother.
Card Recipe:
Image - Drew and His Cupcake
Paper - Fine and Dandy True Blue by My Minds Eye
Medium - Copic Markers
Embossing Folder - Sizzix
Buttons - Stash
Sentiment - Target $1 Spot (a couple of Summers ago)
I didn't have anything in mind for Drew to "sit" on so I drew in a little wall with my Copic Multi Liner. I love this pen as you can color on top of it with your markers without it bleeding.
It's Wednesday so it means another challenge over at The Pixie Cottage!
As always we have 2 parts to the challenge and you can choose either or both to play along with.
We have a fabulous sketch and our theme this week is "Green" and you can choose to make that the color Green or give your card a "Green" theme by using something Recycled on it.

I'm not sure whether Dylan is happy or not in his Easter Bunny Costume but whatever he is feeling he sure looks cute!
I cut him out and used foam to pop him up on the egg for more dimension.
I'm really enjoying working with these pastel shades right now, makes me think of Spring, all soft and new :)
