It's Wednesday so that means another super challenge at The Pixie Cottage
This weeks challenge is a little different. We'd like to see your Holiday Decor items such as ornaments, banners, table arrangements etc or we'd like a card using the sketch. If you submit a card instead of the decor item then it must follow the sketch.
I decided to make a box without a lid and turn it into an ornament for my Homespun style Christmas tree.
Project Recipe:
Image -
Paper - A Cozy Little Christmas by The Paper Studio
Medium - Copic Markers (for the mouse)
Ribbon - Michaels
Border Sticker - K and Co
Ornament and Bow Embellishments - K and Co
Brads - The Paper Studio
This is the sketch should you opt to make a card.
I paper pieced the stocking part of the image, such a great image to use this technique on.
Here is the finished ornament on the tree. I know there is a light near the paper, I moved it after I took the photos, I just wanted a little extra twinkling :)
I hope you have enjoyed this piece and will come over and play with us this week at The Pixie Cottage

Get out your aprons and come along and play with us at Cooking It Up With Katie
This challenge is a little different, as December is almost upon us and everyone will be busy with Family and Festivities I thought the team needed a break and that you needed an easy challenge.
So we are going to run the challenge for 5 weeks and the theme is "Anything Goes!".
The only restriction is that you only enter 3 times in total, all other entries after that will be deleted and the earlier ones may be forfeited.
Card Recipe:

The theme for this challenge is "Lots of Sparkle" so I went to town with the Stickles and Glamour Dust on the snow.
It's time for another super challenge over at Pile It On where we encourage you to add as many challenges as you can to you cards and creations!

I hope you've dropped by to see my special announcement and you should be here from Corrine's blog on the very special New Design Team Announcement blog for Sparkles Christmas Card Challenges!. If not then please go to Sparkles blog to join in all the fun!
Earlier in the year you may remember that I did a guest month at Sparkles Christmas Card Challenges and I was honored when they asked me to be a part of the team for the new term!
It is a great challenge as most of us need to make Christmas cards and spreading them over the year is an easy way to make sure you beat the Holiday rush! The challenges are super simple, a theme is suggested but you can enter with any Christmas card even not choosing the theme, how easy is that?
I decided to share a few of my favorite Christmas card creations from 2011 in case you are new to my blog.
Now you should head on over to Margo's blog to carry on with the hop.
Be sure to leave a comment on all the blogs as their will be some Christmas goodies coming to some one and we all love a little candy don't we?
Also if you are new to my blog be sure to add yourself as a follower as I have another super Christmas surprise coming up soon and you don't want to miss out on a chance of winning that :)
Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and be sure to fit in some Christmas crafting!
