This time at my Cooking It Up With Katie challenge we are doing just for fun, no sponsor and no prize but we hope that doesn't stop you from joining in. We hope our little recipe can be a jumping off point for your latest creation :)
Our recipe this week is simple, we want you to use Your 3 Favorite Things, be sure to mention them in your post though or you won't be eligible for the Top Chef title.
I have lots of favorite things and this time I chose Pearls (look at how many of cards have the pearl treatment), dies (gosh I can't get enough of the fabulous delicate ones out there) and the super cute Teddy Bea (who does love her?)

It's Wednesday so it means another challenge at The Pixie Cottage!
This week we have the theme of Anything But a Card or you could use our super sketch to make a card.
Project Recipe:
Image - Waterfall Scene by Sandra Hammer
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper and Tag - Chick a Doo by SEI
Brad - Making Memories
Sentiment - Joanns
I decided to make a sliding box with a set of note cards inside but you could use it to hold a small gift too.
This image is so nice and you could easily mask it with another image so someone is sitting on the bench.
But I think it works just as well as a stand alone stamp.
I do hope you can come along and play with us this week at The Pixie Cottage!

Happy Valentines Day!
I know you've all been busy crafting those wonderful cards full of love and today is the day to finally give them away to your loved ones!
In a little change from the Pinks and Reds we've been crafting with we have a gorgeous new challenge for you at Magnolia-Licious Challenge and we want to see you use the color combination of Aqua and Brown.
This is one of my very favorite combinations, the brightness of the Aqua is tempered perfectly when paired with Brown creating a soft and calm palette.
Now although it's not Pink my card definitely has a "Love" feeling to it :)
I love this combination, it lends itself so well to family themes, soft and vintage feel cards. I really hope you'll grab your favorite Magnolia stamp and come and join in with this latest Magnolia-Licious Challenge!
