We have another fabulous challenge for you at Magnolia-Licious and this time we have a great theme to inspire your creation as we want to see some Butterflies and Blooms on your cards!
I decided to go with one of my favorite color schemes, I love how relaxing all the Aqua tones are together.
This gorgeous Tilda is called Waterlily Tilda and as soon as I saw her released I knew I had to have her. I love her curly hair and the innocent look on her face.
Now I loved this theme, so many different flowers and butterflies out there in the craft world that it should make it very easy for you to join in with us at Magnolia-Licious.

Now we know that as soon as school starts back that Christmas will soon be knocking on our doors and here school starts tomorrow so you can be sure I am really pleased to have close to 40 Christmas cards in my box ready for this year.
If you haven't joined in with us so far this year then really you do need to start thinking about it and maybe this sketch will be the push you need to start getting festive!
This week at Pile It On we are playing another game and this time it is "I Spy!"
And for our "I Spy" we want to you to spy "P" words.
We are sponsored by the fabulous Jellypark and our team made a great set of samples for you.
My "P's" are Pink, Purple, Pearls, Punch, Pennant, Pen Stitching, Plaid.
Well I'm back home from my 4 weeks trip to England.
I had an Absolutely Fabulous time, being home in England for the Olympics was fantastic, it made you proud to be British and is was wonderful to see all the public getting so invested in the sport. And of the course the Gold moments we edge of your seat exciting even if it was only edge of the sofa watching it on TV!
A few of the highlights of the trip for those who don't follow me on Facebook (sorry for those that have heard all this and waded through all my photos already)
The wedding of my cousin Anna was beautiful, a day that went smoothly with lots of happy smiling faces.
We had a "Great Big BBQ" with 50 friends and family there, followed by an impromptu "Sunday Lunch for 20 at home" that my mum and I still don't know how we managed to pull off.
We did all the touristy things in Nottingham including Nottingham Castle and a trip down the caves, Sherwood Forest and The Major Oak, Wollaton Park and more
We even had a day at Sunny Skeggy (my English friends will get a laugh from that)
Then we had a wonderful week in Brecon in South Wales with trips on a canel boat, a steam train, more caves, Red Kite feeding and a day in Cardiff where hubby and oldest son took a trip to the Dr Who Experience which was the highlight of the whole week (probably all 4 weeks ) for them
Now it's time to tackle the laundry, catch up on work and get the kids ready for school that starts on Monday, thank goodness I did all my cards before I left!
So now it's time for the fourth of my cards from the latest releases at Digital Delights
If you didn't know a "Pressie" is an English word meaning Present/Gift and as Wendy is originally from Scotland and I am from England I'm sure it makes both of us smile and think of home when we hear that.
I think Josie is being very restrained holding her Pressie, I know I'd be ripping off that pretty paper to get to the gift below.
I hope you like this
I love this sweet innocent image and I think it fits perfectly for our challenge this week.
You know you need to get making those Christmas cards, maybe this challenge at Christmas Card Challenges will be the spur you need to get started :)
It's time for another Gem of A Challenge featuring the fabulous designs from Janet at Pink Gem Designs
This week we have a super fun challenge for you, we want to see those Animal Antics!
Card Recipe:

How cute is this little Hoppy Fellow? I added liquid embossing to his eyes to give him an even more glint in his eye :)
Now it's your turn to grab an animal image (Janet has some super cute ones) and come and play with us at Gem of A Challenge
Today it's time for the third of my cards from the latest releases at Digital Delights
I decided to go with a boy card this time and so I picked Birthday Cake Josh to be the star of the card.
This cute little guy is so adorable, I just want to reach out and hug him!
I decided to keep it pretty simple and just draw from the colors and patterns in the paper.
I hope you like him.
Katie
We have another fabulous challenge for you at Magnolia-Licious and this time we have a gorgeous color combination to inspire your creation.
We would love to see Pink, Blue and White/Cream along with a Magnolia stamp.
I decided to go with the gorgeous Tilda Winding Flower as I'm in a romantic mood after attending my cousins wedding and this image just screams romance and beauty to me.
I love everything about this card, the gorgeous image, the wonderful floral papers, the flowers, I just loved making it and I hope you enjoy looking at it.
I also hope it will entice you to grab your favorite Magnolia stamp and play along with this Color challenge at Magnolia-Licious
Texture is a great thing to add to your card to give lots of extra interest and there are many different ways you can do this. For this card I added an embossed mat and added Puffy Paint to my image to replicate the wool on the sheep.
Now it's your turn to go and make a Christmas card (you know how quickly the weeks will slip by) and come back and share with us at Christmas Card Challenges
This week at Pile It On we are playing games and the game we are playing is Bingo!
You simply have to choose a line from the Bingo board and use all those items on your card.
I chose "Ticket, Image, Sewing"
We are sponsored by the super Simon Says Stamp and so you know you want to win this one!
Now you know I love the Saturated Canary images and this one is one of my favorites. Not only is it Krafty Kate (just like me) but I love the shy "Princess Diana" look on her face, just peeking out from under her hair.
It's over to you, go and play Bingo with our crafty board and then come back and share with us at Pile It On this week.
Today it's time for the second of my cards from the latest releases at Digital Delights
This time I went with elegance and so I used the new Tiered Cake image.
Card Recipe:
Image - Tiered Cake
Sentiment - Birthday Sentiments
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - Summer Breeze
Doily Die - English Tea Party by Cheery Lynn Designs
Border Punch - Doily Lace by Martha Stewart
Lace - Really Reasonable Ribbon
Liquid Pearls - White Opal by Ranger
Glitter - Icicle Stickles
I decided to Bling up the cake with Liquid Pearls and Stickles and to me it looks good enough to eat! I thought the doily was a perfect accent to the cake and the border punch matched the lace exactly and it tied everything together.
I hope you enjoyed this and be sure to keep checking back for more great cards.
It's another challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and we would like to see you use Something New on your card!
For this challenge my "New" was the paper, it's not a really new line but it is new to me and the it is the first time I've used it.
Remember that our challenge is optional, we really just want to help you on your quest to be ready with all your Christmas cards!
Card Recipe:
Image and Sentiment - Window Background Set Digital Delights
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - Crate Paper

So now it's your turn to grab something new and create another Christmas Card for that pile you are going to need in no time at all!
Card Recipe:

Paper - Hideaway by First Edition
Sentiment - K and Co
Ribbon - Unknown
Die Cut - Spellbinders Labels 1

So there is my take on the sketch, I hope you enjoyed and I really hope you'll use the sketch and play along with us at Gem of A Challenge this time around.
Oh my it's been so hard waiting to show these FABULOUS New Releases at Digital Delights
I asked a big favor of Wendy as I wanted my images early because of our Big Trip Home and she said, yes sure just give me a theme! So I thought we should go with the very popular Banner/Bunting style that I love and add it to new Birthday images as we all need Birthday Cards right? Well I about fell from my seat when I saw the collection, each one was so so cute and I love every single one! Over the next 5 weeks you will see me using a different one each week.
So there you go how adorable is Josie and her Cupcake! I printed and colored two of the banners, cut them out and added them to the looped bunting cord image.
I just love this card and I hope you do too :)
