I added lots of my favorite Christmas embellishment to this card, Puffy Paint to make snow! I love how easy it is to use, just dot it on and puff it with the heatgun and you are done!

I used traditional colors but made sure she was bright and cute and not scary at all!
I used some mesh that I had saved from a bouquet of flowers, when I saw it I just knew it had to go into my box of "this looks cool to craft with" and it worked out perfectly!

Fall Wheelbarrow - Pink Gem - More Than One Fold

Yay it's the weekend! Ours is another very busy one, it's the Area Marching Band contest this afternoon which will dictate whether or not we get through to state level. The kids have been working so hard on it, they place 1st Division by all judges at the UIL selection last weekend the show looks fantastic, Go Liberty Redhawks Band!
But before that I have card to share for the latest challenge at Gem of a Challenge!
This week we want to see cards/projects with more than one fold. I went with a simple easel fold and chose a shabby chic style for the colors and embellishments

The Secret Garden Exploding Box - Scor-Pal/Graphic 45

Today marks my project in the very special week of projects featuring the fabulous Scor-Pal products and the gorgeous papers of Graphic 45!

I decided to use both The Secret Garden and A Place in Time papers to create a cute exploding box with a surprise inside!

Project Recipe:
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal
Adhesive - Scor-Tape
Papers - The Secret Garden and Place in Time both by Graphic 45
Border Punch - Martha Stewart Garden Lattice
Flower Die - My Favorite Things
Flower - Recollections
Lace - Hobby Lobby
Ribbon - Really Reasonable Ribbon

Start with a 12" square of cardstock, score at 4" and 8" and rotate and repeat.
Cut away the corners as in the photo.

For the lid use a piece of patterned paper 7 1/8" square, score at 1 1/2" on all sides. Snip as in the photo to form the flaps for the corners and add Scor-Tape to adhere.

Use your score-tool on the inside edges to make crisp corners on the lid.

Decorate as desired. I use cotton lace and ribbon on the edge and a flower centerpiece on the top of the lid.

I used accents from the paper pad on the inside.

From the Place in Time pad I used the calendar sheet to create a mini calendar as a surprise.

I hope I inspired to get creating with Scor-Pal and Graphic 45 and I hope you have enjoyed this week of projects.

I colored an additional pumpkin image and popped it up on foam for a little extra dimension on this piece. I kept the colors of the papers muted so that the orange of the pumpkins stood out and were the stars of the card!

I decided to go with a monochromatic theme so to speak with this one, the image just screamed "Purple" at me so I went with it!
