Scor-Pal/The Twinery Blog Hop

EDITED TO ADD: Was picked in the Top 3 at 4 Crafty Chicks! Thanks!!

It's a fabulous Tuesday and I have a great blog hop for you to join in with today!
The team at Scor-Pal have joined forces with The Twinery for some blog hopping fun! It is the first Blog Hop for Scor-Pal it is in celebration of the The Twinery's 1st Anniversary!
Designers from both companies teams have made some fabulous projects for you to see, you won't want to miss a thing!
If you came to me from Deena's blog then you are on the right track, if not then drop by The Twinery Blog to make sure you don't miss a single stop.
By visiting all the blogs and leaving everyone a comment you are in win a chance to be a winner and the prize can be seen below my project.
You have 5 days to visit everyone and leave your comments so make sure you take time to enjoy all the fabulous projects the designers have come up when you visit.

Of course even though this is a blog hop of course I have challenges that my card is entered into :)

Challenges:
AI Factory - Anything Goes
Tuesday Taggers - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy - Anything Goes
One Stitch at A Time - Anything Goes
Digi's With Attitude - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Non Stamped Sentiment (mine is printed and acrylic letters)
4 Crafty Chicks - Twine
Crafts and Me - Include a Number (on the tape measure)
My Mums Craft Shop - Sports and Hobbies
Paper Pretties - Die Cuts
The Paper Shelter - Stitching
Hand Stamp Sentiments - Stitching
Crafty Ann's - Scallops or Fancy Borders
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle - Photo Inspiration (I chose the colors)
Stamptacular Sunday - Fancy Folds
Karens Doodles - Fancy Folds
The Pink Elephant - Stitching

I used a very simple but effective fold called a Tent Fold which creates a window card with a built in stand.

Card Recipe:
Image - Sewing Basket by Isabella's Sketchbook
Paper - Sew Cute by My Little Shoebox
Medium - Copic Markers
Twine - The Twinery
Sentiment - Printed
Acrylic Letters - Unknown
Border Punch - Martha Stewart Garden Trellis
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal
Die Cut - Spellbinders Labels 3

This is the inside of the card. Instead of permanently attaching the front of "tent flap" I used Velcro so the card can still be opened completely.

I added a message mat on the back for your greeting.

I made individual spools from cardstock and wrapped 4 colors of The Twinery twine around them to make mini spools of cotton!

I know the sentiment is corny but it sure would bring a smile to my face if I received it. I love the color of these letters but I have no idea what brand they are, I've had them years, bought them from a clearance bin, you know how it is :)
I finished the card with a hand stitched border in gorgeous bakers twine!

This was such a fun card to make and it won't be the last time I make these mini spools, I'm already thinking of more corny "sewing" sentiments to use :)

Now if you leave a comment on all the blogs you could win:

A Scor-Buddy donated by the fabulous people at Scor-Pal

and this gorgeous selection of bakers twine from The Twinery

You don't want to miss out on that wonderful prize do you?
So get hopping and the next stop is Stephanie.
Have fun and getting hopping!
Remember to have all your comments in by Friday 11.59pm EST

Katie
