Project Recipe:
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal
Paper - Oh Happy Day by Heidi Grace
Medium - Copic Markers
Images - Sunshiny Day and Mud Buddies both by My Favorite Things
Die Cuts - Woodgrain Fence, Oval Decorative Doily, Butterflies and Bannerall by My Favorite Things
Other Dies - Cheery Lynn Designs
This was a super simple Diorama to make, simply 4 sides with windows cut from the Oval Doily Die which are then attached together to form a box with Scor-Tape. A simple base holds the 4 sides up.
Then I added a lid made from a square frame die cut to make it look like a Pergola.
I hung the die cut Butterflies from the roof and decorated the edge with the Banner die cuts.
The Fence die cut around the edge keeps with the garden theme of the Pergola and the 2 cute Clear Stamp images.
You can't really see from the photo but the Woodgrain Fence die actually embosses the Woodgrain effect on to the paper, never seen a die do this before and I love it!
I just love this Banner die. I have had it almost a year now and I love how crisp and clean the die cut pieces are and how easy they are to assemble.
I added a little Paper Piecing to the overalls and mug on Mud Buddies
And I also Paper Pieced the shorts on Sunshiny Day
One final look at the whole piece :)
So that's my little project, I hope you have liked it and make sure to check the Scor-Pal Blog to ensure you don't miss a single spot on this fabulous journey through the blogs.
