Magnolia-licious - Romance Inspiration



I can't believe another two weeks have gone by as it is time for another fabulous challenge at Magnolia-licious!
This time it was my turn to choose the theme/photo inspiration and I went with this gorgeous photo from Pinterest.



Are you inspired by the romance, the wedding theme, the soft textures, feathers, lace, the colors? Whatever it is that calls to you from the photo please use it and create a card to come and share with us at Magnolia-licious!

Card Recipe:
Image - Tilda with Love Rice (sadly discontinued I think)
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - Linen and Lace by DCWV
Banner Die - My Favorite Things
Letter Stickers - K and Co
Lace - Wrights
Pearls - The Paper Studio
Flowers - Kort and Godt and Michaels (airbrushed to match the larger one)
Glitter - Candy Cane Stickles







I decided to go with another easel card, I love the way they display the image on the card so well and the message at the same time.
I airbrushed the smaller roses with my Copic R00 to match the larger rose and added Stickles to Tilda's wings and hearts for a little sparkle.
I hope you liked my choice of photo inspiration and will come over and play with us at Magnolia-licious!

Also today is my project day with the the Scor-Pal and Momenta week so if you have time drop by and take a look.

    Nice card, Kate. Very embellished. I am wondering if you actually leave white in the hair and on the colored places, or does it just look white on the screen? I know some artists do leave part of the image without any color.

    Paula-Kay, I'm glad you like it :)
    No white parts, I just use a really light marker for the base of where I want my highlights to be, for example on the dress the base was R000.
