Today marks the start of a new challenge at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal and this time we want you to include a "Colors of Your Country/Patriotic" theme on your project. So if you are from the US or UK you could use a Red, White and Blue scheme or something that your country is famous for, Canada Red and White and so on.
You can make an "Anything But a Card" project, a "Fancy Fold" card, or any Papercrafting project as long as it is has more than one score and follows our theme.
Now at this time of year in England we are in full "Wimbledon Fever" and Wimbledon is very famous for it's Strawberries and Cream and so I made a woven basket for Strawberries in Red, White and Blue to celebrate the English blood in my veins!
Challenges:
Catered Crop - Summer Lovin'
My Craft Spot - Patriotic
Open Minded Crafting - Patriotic Colors
Artistic Inspirations - Patriotic Colors
Pumpkin Spice - Red, White and Blue
Craftin Desert Divas - Red, White and Blue
Crafts 4 Eternity - Wonderful Weaving
The Stamping Boutique - Red, White and Blue (2 entries only)
All My Crafts - Anything But a Card
Amusing Challenges - Anything Goes (2 entries only no digi)
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Project Recipe:
Scoring Tool - Scor-Pal
Adhesive - Scor-Tape
Paper - Paper Adventures (must be 10+ years old!)
Border Punch - Daisy by Martha Stewart
The basket was pretty easy to make, I used the same method at for my Easter Basket and you can find that tutorial HERE just with a different size. I added a punched handle and a coordinating strip of paper to decorate and then a simple punched design for the edge of the basket. I filled it with strawberries for the photo but it would make a great gift basket.
I hope that you liked it and that you will find time this month to come over and visit us and play along at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal, you could be our lucky winner!
