There's No Place Like Home - Magnolia-Licious Challenge - Anything Goes

This gorgeous vintage image would usually have been done in softer; shabby chic or sepia tones but I love the "Color of The Year" Radiant Orchid and as my one of my favorite paper pads, The Cherry Limeade Stack, has this as a main color I thought it would be fun to try it out.

Now I didn't have an accessory stamp that worked how I wanted it to so I simply die cut the image in an oval and drew a wall in with my Copic Multiliner to give Tilda something to sit on. I'm not an expert when it comes to the Shabby Chic style but I love the look so much so I gave it a go after stalking a lot of my favorite Magnolia bloggers to get some ideas, plus it gave me a reason to play with a lot of embellishments that I've bought and hoarded.
Talking of embellishments, have you seen the latest additions at the Magnolia-Licious store? they are the most adorable flowers, leaves and vegetables just the right size for the perfect touch of elegance to your card.
