This image was perfect for some layering, I really love this technique to give some lift and dimension to an image, and I went with traditional Easter pastel colors and I just love how cute she looks!

I colored and cut a couple of layers of this image and popped up an extra head for a little extra dimension. The papers are so soft and gentle and while different from the usual Spring colors I thought they were perfect for this cute image.

Happy Birthday with Rite of Spring by Aurora Wings

In the last Facebook Fan Page Challenge from Aurora Wings I won a Top 3 spot and got to choose an image as a prize and so I just had to play again!
Now I not happy with my coloring at all on this, it took me ages and I just didn't do the gorgeous image justice at all. But we all need to learn when doing something new and I promise the next one will be better :)
I gave her a Shabby Chic style with some inking and a touch of lace.

I used the colorless blender on Poppy's sweater to give it a little fuzzy look and added a touch of ink to the mats to give a little shabby chic feel to it.

Now I usually struggle with boy cards but this one was a lot of fun to make. The mustache paper made me smile and I added a little extra texture with the corrugated cardstock border and the twine.

My Daughter - "More Than One Score" Scor-Pal Challenge #3 - Monochromatic

Happy April Everyone!
As it is a new month that means we have a new challenge at More Than One Score at Scor-Pal and this month we are looking for your Monochromatic creations! They can be cards or any other paper project, they all count as long as they have "More Than One Score" and the you use your Scor-Pal to create those scores.

I love this style of card, so easy to make, it is simply a piece of cardstock measuring 6" by 12" that you trim at an angle along the top and score at 4" and 8" along the 12" side. As part of the decoration I like to add a punched edge adhered on the reverse side of the card.
