I'm trying to build up my stash of male themed birthday cards and when I want a good man card I always turn to my Dustin Pike images first!
He is a super artist and the humor in his work always makes me smile, I hope it does for you too!
I used a few challenges to help me with this:
I Love Digi wanted 3 papers, 2 brads and 1 embellishment
Alota Rubber Stamps wanted 3 of something, 2 of something and 1 of something else!
Sweet Stampin want a Card for a Man
A Spoonfull of Sugar want One For The Boys
Cards For Men want Humor
Stampin B's want a Funny Card
CCEE want Silly Critters
Charisma want Animal Magic (anyone remember Johnny Morris?)
Magical Crafts want Animal Antics
Our Creative Corner had a Sketch
Pixie Dust want Black, White and another color
My Time To Craft were On The Spot
Card Recipe:
Image - Dustin Pike
Paper - DCWV
Die Cuts - Spellbinders
Medium - Copic Markers
Border Punch - EK Success
Brads - The Paper Studio
Sentiment - Printed
Bow - Unknown
I printed and colored another image of the fish and bowl and popped it on top to give a more dimension to the card.
The sentiment is a play on the "Love and Best Dishes" that Paula Dean always says at the end of her show and I thought it added just enough humor for it to work with any one.
