It's another challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and we would like to see you use "An Old Stamp" on your card this week.
I decided to use 6 old stamps on mine, these were all from the $1 bin at Michaels a few years ago and although they aren't really old I haven't been stamping too long so they are probably as old as they come in my craft room!
Remember that our challenge is optional, we really just want to help you on your quest to be ready with all your Christmas cards!
Challenges:
Crafty Emma - Anything Goes (3 entries only)
Just Keep on Creating - Anything Goes
Papercraft Star - Use a Stamp
Oldie but a Goodie - Die Cuts/Punches
Crafts and Me - Punches and Dies
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas - Red and Green Traditional Christmas
Phindys Place - Christmas
Frosted Designs - Lacing
Card Recipe:
Images and Sentiments - Studio G and Recollections
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - Winter Wonderland by Recollections
Die Cut - Spellbinders
Bows - Offray
Twine - The Twinery
I decided to make mini shaped cards using my Spellbinders die, it's simple you just fold your cardstock in half and position the die with a little bit going over the fold so that when it is cut it leaves some to hold the card together. It takes a couple of runs through the Big Shot to cut and emboss but really not hard at all.
Also I laced the twine through the holes in the die cut, this was fun, felt like a craft I used to do as a child.
Now it's over to you!
Katie
