Card Makin Mama's - For A Child

Paper - Fly A Kite Lime Twist(My Minds Eye)
Doily Die - French Pastry by Cheery Lynn Designs

I thought it would be nice to show how the latest release "Jungle Buddies" could be used in a slightly different way.
Gemma is such a sweet giraffe and she reminds me of the growth charts you hang on a child's wall and so this is where the idea for the card came from.
I hope you'll find a few moments and come and see the rest of the team's creations at Digital Delights this week.

The Pixie Cottage Challenge #61 - Sketch and/or Green

It's Wednesday so it means another challenge over at The Pixie Cottage!
As always we have 2 parts to the challenge and you can choose either or both to play along with.
We have a fabulous sketch and our theme this week is "Green" and you can choose to make that the color Green or give your card a "Green" theme by using something Recycled on it.

Challenges:
Going Grey - Anything Goes (2 entries)
Card Cupids - Green
Let's Ink It Up - Embossing (must use rubber stamp)
Sentimental Sunday's - Green and a Sentiment
ECP - Green
Shannon's Sentiments - Distressing
Card Makin Mama's - Green
Delicious Doodles - Green
Flutterby - Green and Butterfly, Fairy or Angel
Creative Craft Challenges - Lace (including Doilies)

Card Recipe:
Image - Wishing Well by ARTish
Paper - K and Co Julianne Paper Pad
Medium - Copic Markers
Butterflies - Martha Stewart stickers
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Doily - Wilton
Tag - Office Max
Trim - Hobby Lobby
Sentiment - K and Co

Remember you can use the sketch or the optional technique or both!

I inked all the edges and the doily too to give a Shabby Chic feel to the card.
Both the sentiment sticker and the butterflies have glitter on them for a little shimmer.
I hope you like this and we'd love to see you play along with us at The Pixie Cottage!
