I couldn't help playing with him and he looked perfect to Paper Piece! So I printed him on 3 colors and paper pieced him. Then I added a few highlights with Copic's.
He's peeping over a wooden "block calendar" that I bought from Hobby Lobby and decorated.
Both blocks were painted and then matted numbers added to them. The month blocks were papered and then the month added.



I couldn't resist adding a little bow tie to this cute guy!



This will stand on my 3 year olds dresser (he's smiling in the blog banner above) and we will change the date together.
I hope you'll go along and grab this freebie, he's so useful for all sorts of projects.

Digital Tuesday had "It's All About the Animals" theme



I colored Nesbitt with Copic's.
I used the Hearts "Punch Around the Page" set for the big mat and then the Valentines Lace border for the bottom border both by Martha Stewart.
The white roses are Wild Orchid Crafts and the red ones from the bridal dept.





And remember the challenge started on Digi Days at the SNR Card Universe Group is still going on and you have until next Thursday, the 18th, to enter with the drawing being on the 20th.

My Mum flew in from England On Tuesday so I haven't had time to get anything done with this little cutie but I'm going to use the already colored version and just print him out for my last minute gifts!

As I had Ridley in my hot hands a few days before you could grab him I thought I'd make a card too!
I used a few challenges along the way.

Paper Take had a fabulous sketch
Creative Inspirations wanted a Card and Tag set
Polly Craft wanted "Anything Christmas"
Polkadoodle wanted 3 papers and a Rubber Stamp (used one for the sentiment)
2 Red Bananas wanted a Christmas or Winter card
Stamping Vacation had a "Pick 3" and I chose Patterned Paper with Glittered Images, Red Glitter and Color and Image with Glitter
Creatalicious wanted Christmas, Snowflakes, Sparkle and Glitter (got all of those here!)
Digital Tuesday wanted Christmas Sparkle (and a digi of course)
Scrap Stamp and Doodle had a Christmas theme
Dare U2 Digi had a color combo of Red and Green and a Neutral



The great thing about Digital Images (apart from how cute they are!) is that you can size them just how you want, different sizes for different projects!
So I printed out Ridley in both card size and tag size for this cute pair.
I colored Ridley with Copic's and added Candy Cane Stickles to his hat and coat and Puffy Paint to his beard and hat.
I also added Diamond Stickles to the snowflakes for some added glitter.
The dp are from a stack from last year at Hobby Lobby.
The sentiment is Studio G and I matted it on a Pinking Circle Nestie.

Freebie Friday At Digital Delights!

Happy Friday!
Yet another week has gone by and that's good news as it means it's time for another Freebie from Digital Delights and it sure is a great one!


As part of the team I got to play with it early and I found a few challenges that it worked with too.
My Time To Craft wanted Quick and Cute
2 Red Bananas wanted Purple, Black and Orange
Sketch and Stash gave me the sketch
Allsorts had a Halloween theme
Digital Tuesday had Halloween as their theme too.
ABC had F for Flying and the bat balloons are definitely flying!



I printed him out nice and large, a huge benefit of digital stamps, and then colored it with Copics'.
The papers are from DCVW from a previous years collection.
The sentiment is 7 Gypsies and the chipboard letters are by Provo Craft.



The inside is just more dp and a message mat.



He's so cute and he's FREE so what are you waiting for? LOL

Freebie Friday At Digital Delights!

Happy Friday,
Wow, another week is almost at it's end but luckily that means that it's time for another freebie over at Digital Delights!
This week it's another super cute Halloween image, this time of Billy and he's dressed as a Devil and he's riding a spider! LOL


I got a sneak peek of him a couple of day ago and had to get working on a card right away as he was too cute for words!
I used the fantastic sketch from Basic Grey Challenges and it gave me an excuse to raid my stash to complete it.
Also Simon Says Stamp had a Halloween theme and so did Cuttlebug Challenge (also a little tip, Wendy is sponsoring this challenge so you could get even more of her wonderful images if you win!)
Dare U2 Digi had the color combo of Yellow, Orange, Black and White and I think he fit's for this challenge too!

Now I'm not saying I'm a hoarder but the black dp and letters are from "Aged and Confused - Vagabond" which was one of Basic Grey's first releases! I have so little of it left but, you know, it has to be used eventually.
The colors are a little different from the regular Halloween color scheme but I think they worked well enough.
The circle accents are from Martha Stewart from last year at Michaels and the orange "pearls" are also Martha Stewart this time from her collection at Walmart.

The inside is a little more of the dp and a message mat.

Would you like some Free Digital Stamps?

If you've been wanting to try digital stamps but haven't yet then here maybe a chance for you.
My Grafico has a cute Candy set that is absolutely free!
Just download print and play!
These would be so cute paper pieced, simply flip the image in your editing program, print on the reverse side of you dp or cardstock, cut out and flip over to ink, chalk etc!
Also for the Magnolia friends here just think how cute Tilda or Edwin would look sitting on one of these candies! You can make them any size you need just print on scratch paper first to tweak the size to fit your Magnolia image.
I'll be posting more freebies as the weeks go on and would love you to give them a try.
