White on White - Guest Designer at Crop Stop

It's my last card for my guest spot at Crop Stop and I have decided to go with a classic White on White theme for my final Holiday project.
This would be a super card to mass produce, grab your dies, your favorite die cutting machine, some paper, glue and you are good to go!
I added a little sparkle at the end but that is optional if you are mass producing.
Now I will admit before you see it that I never envisioned how difficult it would be to photograph so forgive me, but I think you will get the general idea :)

Crop Stop products:

Elyse Tree by Memory Box
San Marzano Die by Memory Box
Falana Circle Die by Memory Box

Other:

I have really enjoyed my month at Crop Stop and I hope you have gathered a few ideas from my projects along the way.

Christmas Gift Box Tutorial - Guest Designer at Crop Stop

Today I have a quick box tutorial to share with you for my 3rd guest spot at Crop Stop

Merry Christmas Tutorial:
Crop Stop Products
Scor-Pal
Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing Folder
Couture Creations Merry Christmas Die
Winter Snowflake Wreath by Cottage Cutz
Core'dinations Cardstock
Core'dinations Sanding Tool
Martha Stewart Floral Lace Border Punch

Others:
Timeless Rectangles by Spellbinders
Holly Jolly Paper by The Paper Studio
Holly Ribbon
Metallic Cardstock

Cut out the rectangle from Core'dinations cardstock and emboss it with the folder. Cut the other die cuts from metallic cardstock.

Use the sanding block to sand over the embossing to make it stand out.

For the lid use a piece of cardstock 10 1/4" by 8 1/4" and score at 1" and 2" on all sides as in the photo. Burnish the folds with your Scor-Tool.

Cut out the squares as in the photo and snip to form the flaps that will create the corners.

For ease of folding snip the flaps at an angle as in the photo, it makes it much easier to get a crisp corner when adhering.

Turn over and add tape to the flaps.

On the inside edges add tape to the edge sides.

Attach the sides to form the lid and use your Scor-Tool on the inside edges to create crisp sides.

For the base use a piece of cardstock 12" by 10" and score at 3" on all 4 sides and cut the flaps as the photo shows.

Snip the flaps as you did for the lid corners and add tape.

Form the base and again use the tool for crisp folds.

Decorate the box as you wish. I used the border punch to make a decorative edge around the box and added ribbon.

Finally add the die cuts to the lid. I added Stickles for a little extra sparkle.
I hope you liked this little box tutorial and can find time to make a special gift box for someone this upcoming Holiday season :)

Pearls - Liquid Pearls by Ranger
Dies - Flourish Leaf Strip, Mini Fanciful Flouish, Carnivale Border, Medium Rose, Mini Dimensional Butterflies and Card Maker Rectangles

When you open up the book you discover a place to present a little gift.

I used borders from the Carnivale Border to create the frame around the opening inside the book.

You can't see well on the photo but I scored the parts of the book where the pages would be to give the look of a real book.

I added this great sentiment to the front and surrounded it with leaves, flowers and butterflies.
Be sure to drop back next week for my final project as May's Guest Designer.

A Sassy Bookmark - Guest Designer at Cheery Lynn Designs

It's time for another project for my guest designer spot at Cheery Lynn Designs
Today I'm using one of the very popular Mixed Media Dolls by Prima. These stamps are very large, perfect for paper piecing like I did today, a little large for a card so I went with a fancy bookmark. I used a couple of the dies a little differently on this project, the flowers are using just two off the rose strip and the border is actually one of the cutie dies that is meant to be rolled but I thought it was rather cool as a border, a little like a spiral binding edge.

Challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Fussy and Fancy - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Twisted Tuesday - Free For All (3 entries only)
Creative Moments - Brads
As You Like It - Favorite Punch/Die (Fancy Flourish I use it as often as I can)(3 entries only)
Crafts 4 Eternity - Tic Tac Toe (Ribbon, Scraps, Bling)(3 entries only)
Emerald Faeries - Ribbon (3 entries only)
Sandy's Crafty Creations - Flowers
Craft Your Passion - Floral Delights (3 entries only)
Heck of a Challenge - Fashion
Simon Says Stamp - Things with Wings (5 entries only)
There She Goes - Paper Piecing
Sentimental Sunday - Paper Piecing
Little Miss Muffet - Paper Piecing

Bookmark Recipe:
Image - Mixed Media Doll With Peasant Dress 7.25"
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - Kaitlin by Recollections
Liquid Pearls - Ranger Liquid Pearls Bisque Ribbon - Michaels
Brads - The Paper Studio
Embossing Enamel - Frantage by Stampendous in Shabby Green and Aged Ivory
Dies - Flourish Leaf Strip, Mini Dimensional Butterflies with Angel Wing, Carnivale Border, Medium Rose and Cuties 2 (used as a border)

I gave the leaves and edge of the border a little of the Frantage treatment and it gave it just enough sparkle I think.
