The Pixie Cottage Challenge #31 - Fancy Fold

It's time for another new sketch from Pam at The Pixie Cottage and a new technique challenge to go along with it!

This is a fairly simple sketch as we'd like you to also make the card with a "Fancy Fold"! This can be an easel card, a gatefold, a z- fold, anything other than the regular one fold card. Of course you can just do the sketch but it wouldn't be a challenge without a little thinking would it! LOL
You don't have to use a Pixie Cottage Stamp to enter but if you do have why not try out!
Remember you can use the sketch, the theme or both and can combine our challenge with any others you like!

Challenges:
Digi Doodle Shop - Use Your Favorite Stamp
Craft Your Days Away - Favorite Thing
Sentiment Sundays - Anything Goes
Drunken Stampers - Masking
Pixie Dust - Buttons
Crafty Catz - Buttons and Bows
Curtain Call - Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Early Expresso, Very Vanilla
Cupcake Inspirations - Brown and Orange/Peach cupcakes
Creative Stamp Friends - Friends
Our Creative Corner - Embossing
Penny's - Anything Goes
Rosie Dees = More Than One Fold
Anything Goes - Folds
Crazy Challenge - Forest Friends/Back to Nature

Card Recipe:
Image - Apple Hannah by Sandra Hammer and Orchid Park by ALota Rubber Stamps
Paper - K&Co
Medium - Copic Markers
Flowers - Prima
Border Punch - Martha Stewart and Fiskars

This is the card open.

There is a panel on the back for the message.

Here is a close up of the image. I masked the two images together and love how well they work together.
We'd love to see you over at The Pixie Cottage!

She'd like you to stretch your creativity a little and make a card for a man or boy in your life!

Crazy 4 Challenges - Boy Card
Curtain Call - Summer Sun, Bordering Blue, Whisper White and Tangerine Tango

A Spoon Full of Sugar - 3 papers and 3 buttons
Digital Tuesday - Make Me Laugh (well I thought the sentiment was funny :))
Sisterhood of Crafters - You Crack Me Up (something funny)

Card Recipe:

This is such a cute digi set and could be used for a lot of different occasions.
We all know how hard it is to do cards for the men in our lives, maybe this challenge will spur you on! We'd love to see what you can create, come and show us at The Treehouse

Hippity Hoppity Easter's On Its Way! - Another Sassy Cheryl card

Happy Saturday,
This is my second try out card for the Design Team at Sassy Cheryl's.
Even if I don't make the team I'm so glad to have found her designs as they have a fun combination of childhood playfulness and a little attitiude :)

I found a few challenges to help me with my task:

Crafts 4 Eternity had a recipe of a Sketch, Chipboard and Polka Dots
Crafty Anns had "If Music Be The Food of Love" as their theme and I chose the sentiment from the "Peter Cottontail" song
Stamping Vacation had their Pick 3 and I chose; 3 of same embellishment, glitter, use a Quote (I hope part of a song, very well known, works for this)
Staceys Curtain Call Color Combo was So Saffron, Going Gray, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and More Mustard.
A Spoon Full of Sugar had a Springtime theme
Creative Inspirations want you to "Say It In Sepia"
Little Paper Shop wanted Distressing
Tuesday Throwdown wanted Distressing too
Saturday Spotlight wanted Distressing too
Alota Stamps also wanted you to Distress it!

Card Recipe:

Image - Butterfly Bunny from Sassy Cheryls
Paper - K&Co
Border Punch - Fiskars Threading Water
Chipboard Eggs - American Crafts
Glitter - Scattered Straw Distress Stickles
Medium - Copic Markers
Ribbon - Offray
Sentiment - Printed, Poor Richard font

Inside is more dp and a message mat.

I printed the bunny on Vanilla Bazzil cardstock which helped give a different look and worked well with the distressed feel.
I hope you've liked this little guy, run over to Cheryl's store and see what she has, there are bound to be a few image just ready to jump in your cart! LOL
