It's Thursday so that means another super sample from Digital Delights!
With the latest release we are taking a trip to a magical world with our Wizard of Oz inspired characters!
Be sure to check out all the fabulous sentiments that go with these images, perfect for creating a fabulous coordinated card.
Challenges:
Cards For Men - Spring Colors
Shopping Our Stash - Masculine
Bunny Zoe - Ribbon or Twine
ABC Challenge - M is for Magical
Fab N Funky - 4 Legged Animal (10 challenges max)
Paper Pretties - 2 or more Designer Papers
Card Recipe:
Image - Scaredy Cat from the Delightful Oz set
Sentiment - Dream Sentiments Set
Pape - Blink of An Eye by My Minds Eye
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Ribbon - Unknown
Rhinestones - Michaels
As our Lion is the "King of The Jungle" (no not Paddy Doherty for my UK friends) I decided to keep the card more manly themed, not too many embellishments.
But as he was wearing a crown I thought the addition of a little sparkly ribbon and a few rhinestones wouldn't go amiss ;)
Anyway I hope you liked him and have a great rest of your Thursday!
Katie

This was the sketch option this week
I decorated the back and added a message mat for a personal greeting.
I decided to go with a Center Stair Step fold for this card, the image wasn't very big and I wanted to give it as much "ummpph" as I could :)
I cut out the whole image as well as paper piecing the cupcake wrappers. I then popped it up on foam for more dimension and added lots of Stickles glitter.
I really like how it all came together and hope you do too and also hope that you can come along and join in with us this week in The Pixie Cottage!
