For my card for Digital Delights today I decided to go with another lovely feminine card and oh my goodness doesn't Daisy look like she is ready for a very important event!
I love how bright and colorful these papers and matching die cuts are, they make creating a card super simple.

I decoupaged Daisy's head and hat, the ribbons and hair were a little tricky but I managed it without cutting off any important parts ;)

Bring Your Own Sunshine - Inky Impressions - Distress It

It's time for another Inky Impressions Challenge and this time we want to see you "Distress It"
I went with inking the edges and adding some Shabby Enamels embossing powder to give mine that old look. And for a final touch I dry embossed the back mat and sanded it down to show the inner white core.

You Are My Sunshine - Magnolia-Licious and Wee Stamps Challenge - Weather

It's week 2 of our challenge at Magnolia-Licious! so it's my turn to share a card!
Remember we want to see your cards with something to do with weather on them and so I went with the song "You are My Sunshine" and used it as my sentiment.
I used an older Tilda, #211 Explore Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection as I hadn't used her in a while but there are both sunny and rainy images in Diana's store that would work for this challenge.
If you are struggling with the theme then just Google "Weather phrases" and tons will pop up that will surely help you find the perfect starting point for a fun card to share with us.
The wonderful papers and die cuts from the Sunshowers collection were perfect for this card.

I popped up Tilda's head and arm and added a little Diamond Glaze to her magnifying glass, she certainly looks like she is having fun in the sun here doesn't she?

I decoupaged parts of Daisy to give her a little more depth, gosh you need sharp scissors for her thin arms and fingers I cam close to chopping her hand off! Ha Ha!
She is such a cutie and if I looked this cute when I was cleaning I think I may do it more often, well in my dreams maybe!

When you open up the book you discover a place to present a little gift.



I used borders from the Carnivale Border to create the frame around the opening inside the book.



You can't see well on the photo but I scored the parts of the book where the pages would be to give the look of a real book.


I added this great sentiment to the front and surrounded it with leaves, flowers and butterflies.
