Pink Gem - Purple and Turquoise - Skating Chloe

The image actually has flowers in Sam's wagon but I had a little apple punch that was the perfect size to give him a different cargo.
I used corrugated cardstock (my favorite at the moment for giving extra texture) and added a little ink to the edges to soften the look.

I love the addition of the browns in the paper collection I used, makes for a warm feeling and so I went with a warmer rather than brighter red and the same with the greens, and of course I had to give Daffy brown hair to match :)
I found a piece of corrugated cardstock just the right color for her mat and I love how easy it was to cut with the die cut. I really like how this card turned out and I hope you do too :)

In my box of Christmas crafting goodies I found some fancy gift tags and the ornament (or bauble for my British friends) came off it, perfect for my message mat embellishment along with the twine.

This gorgeous Christmas Tree is the design from the Crafts Too Christmas Tree Embossing Folder that I embossed into silver cardstock and then cut out around the outline. I added Stickles in various colors to the indented parts of the design to accent the ornaments and the star.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas - Magnolia-Licious - Winter Themed

We have a special challenge for you at Magnolia-Licious as both teams have come together to create a plethora of fabulous samples for you to enjoy!
Our challenge is "Winter" so grab a Tilda or Edwin with their hats, gloves and scarfs on and get creating!
We don't get a lot of Wintery type weather (apart from cold) here in Texas so it is always fun to dream and create around this theme. I decided to use the adorable Winter Skates Tilda as the star of my card and kept it all blue and icy :)

I used one of my favorite paper pads, Rondelle, and think it went well with the soft scene on the image. I'm not too good at coloring drapes but this image makes it easy, gotta love that when the image does the work for you!
