I have my room set up in "stations" so that all alike products that do a certain thing are organized in the same space. This means it's so much easier to create quickly and with deadlines speed is often of the essence in this room!
This is what greets you at the top of the stairs as you enter my space. My Cricut lives here with the cartridges and then all my stuff waiting to be altered. I also use this space for my mailing station, I have a postal scale and boxes for when I sell my crafts.
Here is my wall of punches. These are all "old style" pre Martha Stewart. I have been a "Punch addict" since I started paper crafting and so have gathered a big collection. Sadly these tend to get a little neglected in favor of the newer styles but some, such as circles, squares, tags etc, will always be used.
This is where I keep over-sized dies, embroidery floss and some craft idea books/patterns.
Martha! I use can risers to store the punches as it makes a little space work really well. I got mine at Target but I know the container store sells them too in the pantry section.

Here is my coloring station. All my Copic's are here (this is almost a full collection, less than 20 greys to go to complete it). In the silver caddy I have my other alcohol markers and the wooden container holds "hot" tools like my glue guns, heat guns and heated knife.
Here is what I fondly call the "Make Up Station". Here are all the things to make you shine! Glitter, Stickles, flocking, micro beads, fabric paint, liquid pearls and all the special adhesives are stored together.
Above the unit is my Magnolia clock.
The die cutting station.
I have a full sized Accucut that I use for long dies and when I want to cut multiple dies at one pass. The Big Shot is used for embossing and all the wafer thin dies.
Under the die cut machines I store my 6" by 6" pads, ready to grab.
Also there are other types of glue, Mod Podge etc. Then next to them are the embossing folders and wafer thin dies.
Here is my wonderful desk! The work surface is a full 4' by 5', lots of space to spread out. The island is made of Jetmax cubes that are raised up on my plinth that my lovely husband made from wooden and base board molding. The top is a piece of MDF trimmed with wooden beading and then painted white to match. The front side holds all my 12" by 12" cardstock and my paper stacks and other designer paper.
On this side are small drawers that hold my wooden dies, Sizzix dies and Big Shot dies.
The other side has paper too. Sorted by color.
This is one of two Expedit units from Ikea that I have in my room. This one holds all my completed scrapbooks, photos waiting to be scrapped, ink pads, embossing powders, tape refills etc.
The brown boxes hold large chipboard sheets, some larger acrylic stamps, specialty papers and other things that don't have another home :)
This is the other Expedit and it holds (going from top to bottom) my rubber stamps, my color cubes, Christmas products and then my acrylic stamps.
This embellishment center hold my distress inks and refills, memento inks, rhinestones, printed chipboard accents and vintage style paper flowers.
These boxes hold my chipboard letters. They were from Ikea but have sadly been discontinued. I took all my chipboard letters apart from their original packaging and sorted them alphabetically.
A close up of two of the "color cubes". I am a "by color" crafter and so it made sense to organize by color too. All embellishments come out of there original packets and get sorted by color. There are a few exceptions (Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima flowers for example) but the majority get stored this way. I can grab the embellishment jar of the color I'm working with and have all my buttons, brads, etc all ready to choose from.
My rubber stamps are stored in these boxes by Sterilte from Target. They fit perfectly in the cubes and I sort by company apart from the wood mounted $1 stamps (from Michaels and Joanns) and they get sorted by theme.
Here are my embellishment letters. There are letter brads, acrylic letters, letter tiles etc and they all get sorted into the spice jars from Ikea. Also here are other metal accents such as jewelry finding, charms and metal beads.
For the jars for the letters I used Rajtan Spice Jars set of 4.
The Burken jars that fit are the 17oz ones
The Burken Spice Jar fits but only in the larger sections of the Making Memories unit so I was limited to their use.
Here is my computer and my theme drawers. Each drawer holds items relating to a distinct theme, for example Baby Girl, Birthday, Wedding, Summer, and all I have to do is take out the drawer and all the items are there. I store stickers, themed ribbons, so themed paper etc in there.
The rug was another Ikea purchase, I thought it looked like a piece of designer paper!

Above the window I have floating shelves that I keep my favorite items I've made on.

These final photos show the layouts I have on display around the room.
I use curtain rods from Walmart, the Better Homes and Gardens brand.
I looked online and they don't have the exact ones I used but they've been up a few years. The trick is to use the Clip Rings to hold the layouts. They come in a pack of 7. I get 6 layouts on each rods so need 12 rings. They work with any rod less than 1" thick.

Another week has passed, gosh mine was a busy one, I've been on a room redo of my crafting space and I'm so glad it's finally done.
I'd like to share it with you and so yesterday I did a quick video tour and I'd love you take a look!

Anyway I managed to squeeze in some crafting yesterday and have a new card as it is another Magnolia Monday!

After die cutting the flowers I ran them through the Big Shot with an embossing folder and then gave them a spritz for some shine and added the glittery button to the center.
I masked the two images and Tilda looks so happy to be outside enjoying the Summer sunshine.

There is a whole world of online magazines and this month there is a feature at Papers and Pixels about Digital Delights and Wendy asked me if I'd like to contribute a project for the article.
You have to register to get the part of the forum with the magazine but there is no charge and you only need an email address. The July Edition is here and you can download it as a PDF or as a Zipped file to save.
I've taken a look and the article begins on page 87 and my projects start on page 89.
I was a little worried that I could do something good enough to publish but after a little soul searching I said yes and came up with an idea to create a party using the fun kids, papers and sentiments from the Jungle Buddies collection.
I decided to use the pre-colored versions as if I was doing a bundle for a party I'd never have the time to color them all individually and when doing tiny versions the colored ones are just perfect!
I've given instructions with each item so that if you'd like to give my ideas a go you can :)
Size 5” by 4 ½”
Print the digital paper at 4 ¾” by 4 ¼” and mat on white cardstock and then yellow cardstock.
Add printed Safari child image, printed sentiment and printed details panel (I made mine up)
Pen stitch around the edges.
Cupcake Toppers:
Print a sheet of digital paper at 11” by 8 ½” in the landscape view.
Cut into strips lengthwise to makes 6 strips 11” by 1 ¼”.
Using a scalloped border punch, punch the entire length of one side of each strip.
Using a scoring tool score down in the vertical line between each scallop that the punch makes (approx. ½” apart)
Fan fold the length of paper in a “hill and valley” style to make a rippled strip of paper.
Attach the ends together to form a ring using strong liquid glue.
When the glue I set press down the center of the ring to form a rosette. Keep hold tightly so it doesn’t spring back.
Turn the piece over to the white side and put some liquid glue into the center where the edges meet to adhere. Hold tight at all times.
Add a punched cardstock circle with more glue over the center back.
Squeeze to get the glue to grip.
Carefully turn over, still holding tight and repeat the glue in the center (down into the small hole that is formed) and add another cardstock circles on top.
The glue should have started to set but use a weight (or someone else’s hand) to hold it down until it is set.
Print out the Safari child at 2” tall and cut out using small scissors.
When the rosette is dry add the child to center of the rosette.
Add a mini popsicle stick to the back and a punched bow topped with a tiny monkey punched with a circle punch from leftover pieces of digital paper.
Water Bottle Wrappers:
Print a sheet of digital paper at 11” by 8 ½” in the landscape view.
Cut in half lengthwise to form two pieces 11” by 4 ¼”.
Attach to the bottle with glue or tape. Obviously the size of bottle will make a difference to the size of the wrapper.
Print Safari child, mat and attach to the bottle.
Punch a circle from digital paper (spare from the other projects) to cover the bottle cap.
Print the Wild Thing sentiment, mat in yellow cardstock, punch a hole in the corner and attach to the neck of the bottle by a piece of gingham ribbon.
Napkin Rings:
Printed digital paper on a sheet of 11” by 8 ½” in the landscape view.
Cut in strips 1 ½” wide by 8 ½” long.
Attach the ends into a ring overlapping by about 2 inches and secure with strong liquid glue. I use Beacons 3 in 1.
Print Safari child image at 2” high, trim and mat on yellow cardstock, attach to the ring with a foam pop dot.
I hope you like my little party set, it is so easy when using pre-colored images and digital papers and can be adapted to many themes. In fact my daughter, who will be 13 in January, is already dropping hints that she thinks a similar idea would be great for her next party! LOL
And I want to shout out a huge "THANK YOU!!" to my husband who ran all around town to get me yellow and green napkins and even got the bakery at Kroger to whip up a batch of green frosted cupcakes without sprinkles! LOL
I was nice to make something a little different and it's given me a lot of ideas for upcoming events.
Of course I found a few challenges for this project to go along with :)

I hinted that today would be a double posting day and it sure is!
I don't have a new project in this post as an unexpected mini redo of my studio, including building, painting and rearranging, has meant a "tools down" since Tuesday morning but I will make up for it with a links to a favorites.
Also on a side note be sure to watch out for my first video, a room tour that will be coming soon! (wish me luck, I never made a video before)
Now the reason for this post.....I'm so proud to announce that I am part of the Scor-Pal Design Team!
A while ago Diana approached me and I was so flattered!
I've been teaching scoring classes at a local scrapbook store and being a big cardmaker of course I'm always in need to something wonderful to make a lovely creased line with!
My very favorite recent project is featured on the Scor-Pal blog today and it's the gatefold and favor box combo that I taught back in April.

It's a double post day today and we are starting with another set of treats from the Digital Delights team.

Little Ellie the Elephant is so cute that I couldn't resist her as a baby :)

It's another Once Upon a Wednesday at The Pixie Cottage and this week we have the theme of "Wrap It In Ribbon!" and of course we have a super sketch if you'd like to play with that, I chose to do both the theme and the sketch this week.
This is a pretty unusual image (a fairy on a slug) but it is cute and I'm glad I finally inked it up! I added Smooch Illuminate paint to her wings, wand and shoes for a bit of sparkle but it didn't really show up too well in the photo.
