Happy Monday Everyone!
It's time for another challenge over at Cute Daisy May and this week we'd like to see your Valentines card with Pink and Neutral color.
This challenge was set by team member Michelle and she has a fabulous blog at Magical Creative Inspiration and I recommend you check it out :)
I found a few challenges to go with this card.
Lord Have Mercy had a super sketch
AI Factory wanted you to use a sketch from any other site
Peachy Keen wanted Vintage and Stamped (rubber or digi)
If The Shoe Fits wanted Vintage
Stamp With Sarah Kay had a Valentines theme
Bee Crafty wanted Romance
Corrosive wanted Love
Lil Red Wagon wanted to see Hearts
Fussy and Fancy wanted Hearts
Dare U 2 Digi wanted Valentines/Hearts
The Secret Crafter wanted Hearts
Fab N Funky wanted you to use a Digi Image or Sentiment
Creative Inspirations had a theme of Feminine
For the 2nd week in a row I used an image from Sheet 166 I love all the images in this set and think they would work for lots of different cards not just Valentines.
I suppose my colors could be a little more red than pink but there are pink shades in the papers and Daisy is definitely in the Pink! I colored her in Copic's int he following colors:
Skin E00, E02, E93
Jeans and Hat RV91, RV93, RV95
Hat Ribbon R81, R86, R85
Shirt E40, E41, E42, E53
Birds E70, E93
Mailbox W00, W3, W5
The dp is K&Co.
The flowers are Prima and the corner is a Cuttlebug die.
The heart border punch is Martha Stewart.
The pearls are Hobby Lobby.
The sentiment is Heidi Grace and I thought it was perfect for the image.
Inside is more dp and a message mat.
Here is Daisy sending her love.
I love these 70's retro feel images, reminds me a lot of being a child.
I hope to see you over at the challenge!
