You'll need your sunglasses for this one!

Happy Wednesday!
Todays card is certainly a bright one! LOL
A little more whimsical than my usual style but those Dustin Pike images I told you about last week sneaked into my shopping cart and they are too cute to sit not printed and colored for long.
As usual I've been combining challenges and this one covers 6 different ones.
BTW I've been creating a list of challenge blogs and so far I have over 100 so I should never be short of ideas!LOL

The Next Level gave me a wonderful sketch by Jacque
Scrap Masters gave me the color combo of Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and Rich Razzleberry. I'll admit that I don't have any Stampin' Up stuff so I have to try and chose colors that look similar.
Paper Blooms asked for Animals and a Punny Sentiment (I think I did that :))
Our Creative Companion wanted Pets/Animals as well
Creative Card Crew were looking for you to create a scene
Cupcake Crafts wanted you to include Blossoms and Butterflies.

This cute image from Dustin Pike was colored with Copic's and I added Diamond Stickles to his wings. I cut it out and popped it up as the sketch also required a 3D image. I added a butterfly made with two layers made from a Marvy punch. I tore some Cordinations cardstock to make the grass. The flowers are Prima, the dp is KMA (no longer making their own papers :()

The inside just has more dp and a journaling mat with the same ribbon as the on the front.

I hope you can see the Stickles and the 3D popped image.
So that is todays creation and I hope you like him!

Another 7-in-1 card!!

OK, maybe I'm getting too much into challenges! Hee Hee!!
It is so much fun to try and combine lots of the fun challenges I keep seeing and the more I do it the easier it gets(but of course the list of blogs I have saved in my favorites gets longer and longer too!)
This time the card covers 7 challenges, 4 from blogs I've not tried the challenges of before. I always start with a sketch, then I try and find a challenge for a theme, then look for a color challenge and then a technique/embellishment challenge and if I find ones that work together then the I can create a card really quickly.
The challenges are:
Friday Sketchers - Sketch 59
Simon Says Stamp - Color combo, Lemon, Orange, Apple Green and Pink
Whimsy Stamps - Birthdays
Digital Tuesdays - Sweet Birthdays and a digi image
The Next Level - Buttons and Bows
Creative Card Crew - Ribbons
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Hearts

I used this wonderfully cute image from Cuddy Buddly and printed it with Kodak ink and colored it with Copic markers.
I added Diamond Stickles to the sprinkles and the bow on the package.
The dp is from The Sweet Stack from DCWV. The sentiment star is from Colorbok (I think) that I got from Walmart a year or so ago.

The inside is simple but the glitter paper makes it super special!
I hope you like it and TTFN!

Bugs and Kisses to all!

Happy Sunday!
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe 4th of July.
It was very quiet here, just a bit of sunning, a bit of swimming, a bit of BBQ and watching the fireworks from the front porch.
I have a cute card for you today that I wnat to share.
This is a super cute digi image from Pink Petticoat that I have been wanting to use since the moment I downloaded it :)
I only saw the sketch at The Next Level a couple of hours ago and the deadline is this afternoon so I had to get working quickly, good job I have a TV in my room so I could watch the tennis at the same time :)
I also included two more challenges;
Pile It On - Use 3 different embellishments
Dare U2 Digi - Embossing

As I said before the image is from Pink Petticoat, the dp are Nana's Nursery Baby Girl from DCWV, the embossing border is Cuttlebug and the flowers are Paper Studio

The inside is simple I just wanted to showcase the cute "Hey Diddle Diddle" dp :)
Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday, we've off to the new Lego store and my oldest ds is so excited he can't speak (which is a bonus, hee hee!)

Another digi stamp and The Next Level Challenge

Another warm day in North Texas, it's not hit 100 yet but it will soon, I'm sure of that :)
You know how I did 6 challenges in 1 card yesterday? well today's card only fills 1 challenge and it took me all of yesterday morning to complete (and I must admit I added a final touch just a few moments before photographing! LOL)
There is a fantastic new blog called The Next Level and this week they have a sketch that I just had to do;)
It is a blog I shall be going back and back to as it is like a magazine with all the tutorials, ideas and challenges.

I loved how the sketch had a curve and a pocket and a tag, so many things to play with!
I used a new digital stamp called Daisy May that I bought from Cute Daisy May Digi Stamps and her childish innocence really appealed to me. I colored her with a mixture of Copic's and Promarkers.
The dp on the front layer is Basic Grey and the back is DCVW. The ribbon is Offray and the fabric brads are Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby. I added a sentiment to the tag and to the inside, both are from Marcella by K "Eilza" from Target. I added a punched border to the inside of the pocket using the Threading Water punch by Fiskars.

The inside is pretty standard but I added silver borders (I love my silver Prismacolor marker!) and an additional sentiment to the message block.

I wanted to show you the tag as I think it turned out cute :) I added a tiny message block for a special touch.
Anyway I hope you like her.
Have a Happy Thursday!
