Digital Delights - Rejoice with Caroling Penny

Time for more fabulous cards from the Digital Delights Team!
All of them have created some super cards using images designed by Wendy Hall for Digital Delights. On a side note did you see that Wendy's images are just $2 a piece? Most other digital companies start at $3 and go up so by choosing Digital Delights you are saving money with every image you buy!

I've finished with Halloween crafting and so I thought I'd get adding to my pile of Christmas cards by working with the super cute Caroling Penny!

Challenges:
Allsorts - Spots and Stripes
Speedy The Cat's Friends - Die Cut or Punch
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Let's Get Punchy
Simon Says Stamp - Punch Em
Sweet Stop Sketches - Sketch
Wee Memories - Cute Holiday
The Crafty Pad - Christmas
Stamp With Sarah Kay - Christmas
Southern Girls - Glitter It Up
ABC - G is for Glitter
Totally Gorjuss - Sparkle

Paper Pretties - Make a Square Card

Card Recipe:
Image - Caroling Penny
Paper - The Christmas Combo by DCWV
Medium - Copic Markers
Flowers - Making Memories
Border Punch - Martha Stewart
Paint - Puffy by Tulip
Glitter - The Art Institute

It's hard to tell in the photo (click on it to make it big) but I used Puffy Paint on her hat and coat and before heating it I sprinkled it with glitter for extra sparkle. It goes well with the glittered stripey paper underneath I think.

These are the colors I used to color her with, I know I don't do this often but I am going to try and remember as I know how much it helps people if they want to recreate something.
Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed seeing Penny in her finest and I hope it inspires you to either get started on your Christmas cards, if you haven't already, or at least gets you singing! LOL

Guest Designer at Incy Wincy - Pink and Brown

It's time for another guest card for and this week we have a color combo challenge of Pink and Brown.
This combo is one of my favorites as it leads to a vintage, shabby chic feel to a card and it works so well for girl cards.
We are sponsored by the fabulous Di's Digi's and this image I got to work with was so cute!

Challenges:
Paper Cutz - Anything Goes
Copic Creations - Colorless blender tricks (I used burlap soaked in blender and dabbed on the bear for texture)
365 Cards Day 230 - Last but Not Least (a technique you've been putting off trying, see above!)
Our Creative Corner - More Is Better (3 of more types of embellishment) (brads, buttons, punches, sticker)
Speedy the Cat's Friends - Stitching
Totally Gorjuss - Pink
Wee Memories - Celebrate Good Times
Paper Sundaes - For Someone Little
Paper Romance - Buttons

Card Recipe:
Image - Ted's99 by Di's Digi's
Paper - My Minds Eye Loves Nest
Medium - Copic Markers
Brads - Making Memories
Buttons - Stash
Border and Corner punches - Martha Stewart
Sentiment Sticker - KI Memories

How cute is this little bear? It is images like this that remind me of "home" (4500 miles away in England) as a "99" with a Flake was my favorite treat from "Mr Whippy" :)
I hope you like her too.

Guest designer at Crafty Creations - Make Your Own Button

I was super excited to be asked to be a part of Crafty Creations for a month and today is my first card for them!
We were asked to "Make your own button" which was something I'd never done before.
I wasn't sure whether I was doing it right but in the end I punched 4 circles of white card stock, glued them together in a pile, added a blue card stock circle on the top and used my Crop-O-Dile to make the holes.
