Happy Sunday,
If you were here yesterday you'll know I hinted that today's card would be a 1st for me and it most definitely is.
I remember last year when there seemed to be a glut of "White on White" challenges floating around the blogs. Well I was very new to cardmaking then and was completely intimidated by that challenge and didn't even try one out.
Fast forward to now and I spot a challenge with the "White on White" challenge and I say to myself "I never did do one of those last year, dare I try now?
Well I realized it was time to face the challenge and give it a go.
It was just as hard as I thought it would be but I think it turned out alright in the end.
There was no way I could face the challenge alone so I found some more to help me out.
Charisma had a White on White challenge
Tuesday Throwdown wanted Monochromatic
Scrap and Stamp Saturday also wanted Monochromatic
Practical Scrappers wanted Die Cuts
Pals Paper Arts had a Snowflake challenge (I embossed a panel with snowflakes, I hope that counts, and of course snowflakes are white after all! LOL)
Frosted Designs wanted Embossing
Friday Sketchers had a sketch
Just Magnolia wanted Hearts and Flowers
Fussy and Fancy wanted Hearts
The Secret Crafter wanted Hearts
Humble Pie wanted you to "Get Flowery" with at least 5 flowers (I used 3 to make each flower so that makes 9)
Cute Card Thursday had a "Blooming Gorgeous" theme
My Time To Craft had an Elegant Rose theme
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle had a Free week
Lil Red Wagon wanted to see Hearts
Doodle Palace wantd something New and this whole color concept was New to me
Alphabet Challenge were at N is for New
Creative Inspirations wanted something Feminine
Of course when facing a challenge that is hard for me I fall back on some trusty items and so of course I had to use a Magnolia stamp. This little beauty is called Christmas Morning and I can't find in stock at the usual places but maybe you already bought her before Christmas. I colored her with the "white" Copic's, E40, 41 and 42.
The snowflake embossing folder is from the Holiday set from HSN.
The heart border punch is Martha Stewart.
All the flowers are from the bridal department at Joanns and Michaels.
The back embossed panel is a pre-embossed notecard from Michaels.
And shock, I didn't do anything on the inside this time!
Here is a close up, it was hard chosing colors that went with White but I think she looks very ethereal and certainly quite angelic :)
If you like my Tilda cards then you HAVE to come back tomorrow as I have a project with 15 Tilda's on it and there will be a little competition with some blog candy relating to it.
Have a great rest of your Sunday.

Pixie Cottage Saturday Showcase - April is Thinking of You
Happy Saturday,
It's time to see some more wonderful creations from the Design Team using the latest Pixie Cottage stamps
Also remember that the latest Wish Upon A Wednesday challenge is still going (with a Red and Pink theme) and there's blog candy there to be had too!
I found just a few challenges to go with this one ;)
Practical Scrappers wanted Patterned Paper
A Spoon Full of Sugar had a Freestyle challenge
Papertake had a great sketch
Everybody Art had a color combo of Blue, White and Brown
365 Cards Day 334 had the 3 B's, Blue, Blossom and emBoss
Frosted Designs wanted to see Embossing
Trimmies had a Paper Piecing challenge
Totally Gorjuss also wanted Paper Piecing
Hand Full of Stamps had a Hearts challenge
My Time To Craft had a theme of Elegant Rose and I used paper roses
The Secret Crafter wanted Hearts
I used April with Hearts and cut her with a Label Nestie.
I paper pieced her dress, bow and shoes and colored the rest of her with Copics.
The papers are actually brown not black as they appear in some of the photos.
The border punch is Martha Stewart.
The embossing folder is the Plaid one from the HSN Holiday Collection.
The flowers are Prima and I colored the base flower (and the two side roses) with Copic's to match the papers.
The sentiment is a Studio G $1 stamp.
The inside is more dp and a message mat with a matching punched border.
Here is a close up of Hannah and hopefully you can see the paper piecing on the dress.
I hope you like Hannah, she's already in the store and ready to purchase right now!
Have a great Saturday and be sure to come back tomorrow for a card with a difference (at least to me anyway)

Treehouse Stamps Challenge- Flowers and Butterflies
Happy Thursday everyone!
It's time for another challenge at Treehouse Stamps.
This weeks featured Design Team member is Kelly and you can see her wonderful creations at Kelly's Stampin Habit. She's a little "creatively challenged" at the moment as her right arm is in a cast but she still made a wonderful card for the challenge this week!
This weeks challenge was to included both Flowers and a Butterfly (or two) on your project and it was nice to get in the mood for the upcoming Spring season.
I found a few other challenges that helped me create this card.
Mojo Monday gave me the sketch
Frosted Designs want to see Chipboard
Cute Card Thursday had a "Blooming Gorgeous" theme
Die Cuts R Us wanted to see Ribbon
Saturday Spotlight had a Sunshine theme
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle had a Spring theme
Corrosive wanted Fancy Folds
Cupcake Crafts wanted a Matching Set
Practical Scrappers wanted Patterned Paper
Flutterby Wednesdays had an Open theme as long as it has an Angel, Fairy or Butterfly on it
Quixotic had a challenge of Flutterby
I made an easel card with a matching bookmark using the Tulips from the Spring Blessings digital stamp set
I printed two of the images in a large form for the card and 3 smaller ones for the bookmark. I colored the images and cut out one of the large ones and popped it up on to the one on the card.
The Copic colors I used are G82, G94, Y11, Y15, Y21, Y35, Y38 and YR65. I outlined the images with W1.
The green dp is Love Elsie and the yellow polka dots is K&Co.
The sentiment is K&Co too.
The chipboard butterflies are American Crafts.
The border punch is Martha Stewart.
I used dewdrops on the top of the message mat to make the card "stopper".
Here you can see the depth on the flowers.
I put the bookmark in a bookmark cover and added a ribbon to the top.
So dust off your Spring supplies, find a blue sky for inspiration and create a design for us all to see!

It's time to Pile It On again! - Sending Warm Wishes
Happy Sunday Everyone!
I hope you are having a great weekend and that the Winter isn't taking too much of a toll on you.
I hope I can brighten your day a little with a new card for Pile It On
We have a new challenge for you today and we want to see your "Warm Wishes". This could be a card celebrating Spring or Summer, a Winter card to make you smile or even a card with a steaming hot cup of cocoa on it!
You chose, just come back and show us all your interpretation of it and you could be this weeks winner!
As you may know Pile It On was born out of a desire to "Pile On" as many challenges as possible so this one has a few for you to see!
Ooh La La wanted you to "Create a Scene"
Flourishes want a Scene too
The Pink Elephant had a great sketch that I turned a 1/4 turn
Practical Scrappers had an Embossing challenge and so did Crafty Ann
Creative Card Crew want you to "Punch It" and so do Simon Says Stamp
Little Red Wagon want to see Snowflakes
Sassy Susie wanted a Card for a Boy (with an animal option)
Stamp With Sarah Kay wanted a Birthday Card for a Boy
Fab N Funky had a color combo of Blue, Green and White
Gingersnaps wanted Metallics
Double Dutch had a Baby It's Cold Out Here theme
I used this super cute Teddy Bear image from Dustin Pike and colored it with Copic's. I added Puffy Paint for snow to complete the scene.
The papers are Peppermint Forest from Joanns. I cut and nested the image with Nesties.
The border punch on the striped panel is Martha Stewart and the panel was then embossed with a Winter embossing folder.
The punch on the silver border is a new one from EKSuccess.
I printed out the sentiment and raised both the image and sentiment on foam for dimension.
The inside is more dp and a message mat.
A close up of the bears wheeling their good wishes through the snow!
I'd love you to join in so go on create something for us and link it back so we can come and see it!
Good Luck!

Pretty in Pink - What's Tilda Cooking Up This Time?
Happy Friday Everyone!
I really am enjoying my card making at the moment and this one was so much fun to make I was actually quite sad when the creating was all over.
I think that Tilda is feeling a little sassy with her Valentines message but you know that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach so I think it fits ;)
As always I used a few challenges to help me with her creation.
Paper Take Weekly had a "Pretty Pink Papertake" theme
Magnolia-licious had a "Pretty in Pink" challenge
Magnolia Down Under had a Valentines theme
Everbody Art had a great sketch
Crafty Creations had a Love/Valentines theme
Belli want to see Hearts
Flutterby wanted Embossing and a Butterfly, Fairy or Angel. Now we know Tilda is an angel but in this image she's hiding her wings but I think it still counts (please Danni! LOL)
Crafty Ann wanted Embossing too
LaLa Lands wanted Fancy Folds so I did an Easel card which I think is perfect to show off this image
Creative Card Crew want you to "Punch It"
Simon Says Stamp want you to "Punch It" too!
Your Next Stamp wanted "Anything That Sparkles"
I took liberty and borrowed the words from Hank Williams Jr but I don't think he'll mind too much. I used Kitchen Tildaand think she looks super cute with her big wooden spoon. As usual I colored her with Copic's and I love the pink shades.
The dp is My Minds Eye Love Nest collection. I embossed the pink background cardstock with the Victoria embossing folder and inked it a little to help show the pattern. The flowers are Prima, the ribbon is American Crafts, the brads are Target and the rhinestones are Queen & Co.
I used the new Hearts border and corner punches from Martha Stewart and I absolutely LOVE how they look.
Sorry for the awful photo.
I covered the bottom of the card with the same dp and added a punched border as a stopper.
Then I printed out the lyrics as my sentiment. I have a message mat further up under the card for your own message.
Here's a close up of my Pretty in Pink Tilda and I hope you like her, she makes me happy just looking at her :)

Treehouse Stamps -A Little TLC
Happy Thursday!
It's time for another challenge at the Treehouse Stamps blog and this week we'd like to give a little TLC and are sending out Get Well Soon projects to inspire you.
And in the "spotlight" today is our wonderful designer Ashley without whom there wouldn't be a Treehouse Stamp!
I got to use another of the brand new digital images and this time took the super cute cup from the Friends and Lattes set
I love the adaptability of digital images and used the image in two different ways to make a perfectly matching set.
Not many other challenges with this project but I did find a couple.
Kaboodle Doodles wanted Anything But a Card
Pals Paper Arts also wanted Anything But a Card
Sew Many Cards had an Anything Goes theme as long as you use a digital image
Crafty Calendar had a Keep Warm theme and I think this project works for that.
Crafty Angels wanted you to Keep It Simple
Copic Buzz wanted Anything But A Card with a Cooking/Recipe/Kitchen theme, I hope my cup of coffee counts! LOL
Charisma wanted bright and Fruity colors
I made a "Get Well Soon" set of a mini lunchbox and matching mini card.
The box could be filled with a pack of tissues, fancy tea bags, cough drops or anything else to make the "patient" feel a little better.
I printed one cup out in a larger size, colored it and cut it out. Then I popped it up on foam on the front of the box. For the card I printed 3 tiny cups in a border and colored them the same as on the box.
The fantastic dp is from the Nook and Pantry Collection from Basic Grey and the flowers are Prima.
I hope you've enjoyed my little project and be sure to check out all the other wonderful

What's New Pussy Cat? - Challenge #9 at Cooking It Up!
Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another challenge over at my Cooking It Up With Katie card recipe blog.
This time the recipe is:
1. Use a "non human" image
2. Add some texture
3. Use a product you've never used before.
As always I couldn't stop at just one challenge and had to add just a couple (20!) more! LOL
Friday Sketchers had a super sketch
Corrosive wanted you to "Go Digi"
Cute Card Thursday had a color combo of Pink and Grey
Bee Crafty wanted your Favorite Color combo and a digi image
Incy Wincy wanted your favorite coloring medium
Paperplay had a "Furry Friends" theme
Crafty Pad also had an Animals theme
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle had a Girly theme and so did Scrap and Stamp Saturday
Secret Saturday Crafter had a "Musical" theme and I think the sentiment on this card works for that ;)
Raise The Bar is a brand new challenge and they wanted you to "Debut" something and this image is super new and it's definitely making its Debut!
Dare U 2 Digi wanted to see Buttons and so did Little Paper Shop. I used my Buttons border embossing folder and I hope that counts!
Daring Cardmakers had a Hole In One theme
Crafty Ann wanted to see some Embossing
and so did Practical Scrappers
A Spoon Full Of Sugar wanted to see "Lots of Layering"
Creative Card Crew want you to "Punch It!" and so do Simon Says Stamp
Belli wanted Hearts
As a cat love I just couldn't resist using one the fabulous new images from Lily Boo's Cat Collection
I colored her with Copic's and gave her a very regal bow to go with her regal look! LOL
The dp is Imaginisce "Fairest of the All" which I thought was fitting for the Princess ;)
I used Martha Stewarts Valentines Lace border punch to create "Paper Lace" in two different widths to fit with the sketch. I added a row of embossed Buttons from the Cuttlebug border folder and added silver to the "holes" on the buttons. Then I added a few pink rhinestones for an even more "girly" feel.
Finally I printed out the sentiment and cut and nested it with a scalloped circle Nestie.
I added a few more touches of silver with my Prismacolor pen.
Inside is more of the super sweet dp and a message mat.
Here's a close up of "Her Royal Highness"! LOL
Be sure to go and play in my challenge at Cooking It Up With Katie as you'll have a chance to win the image set this kitty came from or your choice of any set that you can see at Lily Boo's Boutique!

New Digital Delights card and soon we'll be Hopping!
Happy Tuesday!
It's a super busy week on the blogs this week and the team at Digital Delights will be joining in the fun with a super blog hop on Thursday!
You'll want to make sure you don't want to miss out on the fun as we'll be debuting a brand new collection of images and there'll be prizes too!
And to celebrate this great week I decided to use one of Wendys super sweet older designs by creating a card for y'all!
There are a few challenges that go with this one too :)
Mojo Monday had a great sketch
Stamping Vacation had a Pick 3 and I chose; Use a butterfly, Make a card for no specific occasion and use colors that remind you of Spring
Ann's Creative Nook wanted you to be Inspired by Fabric and I chose this purse as my color inspiration
Hope Stamps Eternal had some super cute Cupcakes as inspiration complete with flip flops and sunglasses!
I chose to use the super sweet Beach Bonnie as the star of this "Just Because" card. It's nice to send a card on a special occasion but think how extra someone would be to receive a handmade just because you thought of them :)
I colored Bonnie with Copics but my Y21 ran again, I must have overfilled it :(
Never mind, maybe it's just a touch too muh sun! LOL
The super dp is My Minds Eye "Where The Heart Is" that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.
The ribbon is Hobby Lobby too and he sentiment is The Paper Studio.
I added Queen & Co pearls to the side mat.
The inside is more dp and a message mat.
I hope that brings a little sunshine into your Winter day and be sure to check back at Digital Delights on Thursday to join in the blog hop for fun and prizes too!

Another "Just Because" - Thank You for Loving Me
Happy Monday!
I don't know how but this week I seem to have a little extra time and am pretty much caught up on DT commitments for the next couple of weeks so I can spend a little time creating just for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, DT work is super fun as I get to play with new designs and great team members but sometimes it's nice to create just because I feel like it.
There are so many wonderful challenge blogs out there at the moment and I want to play in so many of the challenges that I have to keep creating to fit them all in! LOL
This card is no exception:
Totally Gorjuss wanted to see Monotone cards and I never made one before so it was a fun challenge for me
PollyCraft wanted Fire and Ice and although mine is more Fire than Ice it does have "bling" which is also (showing my age) called Ice!
Crazy 4 Challenges had a fab sketch
Magnolia-licious had a fabulous Frame Style card for it's challenge. I love to try new things and this was a first for me.
Etsy Inspired had a wonderful soap store for inspiration and I chose Sweethearts for both a color and theme inspiration
One Stop Craft wanted Fancy Edges or Corners and with so many wonderful border punches around I just had to do that one
Just Magnolia had a Thank You theme and I twisted that a little for this Valentines card
Magnolia Down Under wanted Valentines too
Your Next Stamp wanted to see Embossing and so did Practical Scrappers
When I saw the Christmas collection a couple of months ago I first wanted them all, just like any self respecting Maggie lover would ;)
But I couldn't have them all so I picked out not just my favorites but ones I thought could do "double duty" and not be just for Christmas.
Christmas Eve Tilda was one I knew could definitely be for birthdays as well and today she is the star of this Valentines Day card.
When I decided to try the frame style card I looked at the great tutorial from the super talented Claudia at Pretty Pressings. It was a great lesson but of course I had chosen a rectangle sketch, not in the middle and so I had to adapt it as I went along. Then I didn't want the corner "holes" on the inside of the frame to show so I had to make an inside "edge". Then I decided I wanted an embossed frame around the frame , never one to make life easier on myself! LOL
But after measuring and tweaking, scoring and cutting, I think I got what I wanted.
Of course I chose the easist, not, of color schemes too, what was I thinking!
After coloring Tilda I realized the white background was too "white" for the Monotone look so I cut her out and popped her on to a mat with Martha Stewart fancy punched heart corners.
The dp is K&Co, the embossing folder is the Morroccan Screen and the punch is EK Success. The flowers are Prima and I printed the sentiment and punched it and inked it.
I used a lot of my Warm Red Chalk Ink on all the edges to keep the cosy feeling I hope the card conveys.
Here you can see the frame effect from the side.
I covered the back of the frame with matching dp and added a message mat with punched border to the other side.
I wanted to show you a close up of Tilda with all the shading of the red tones but I couldn't get the brightness right so this is a little dark but if you click on it to make it large it should work.
Anyway, I hope you got through the marathon post and enjoyed the "Tale of a Tilda Card Creation"! LOL

Home Sweet Home - An Easel Card with a few challenges too!
Happy Sunday!
I don't know what's got into me, two days in a row of "just because I wanted to make them" cards, no DT requirements again LOL
The image is from one of the teams I'm on but I made the card because I wanted to, not because I was asked to. It feels good to play without boundaries once in a while.
Of course there had to be challenges that worked with this and here they are:
365 Cards Day 318 had a Home Sweet Home theme
Creative Inspirations had the theme of "New Year, New Products"
Charisma had an "Anything New" theme too
Crafty Creations wanted 3 different textures
Stamp With Sarah Kay wanted an Easel card and you know I love that style!
Sweet Sketch Wednesday had a super sketch that worked perfectly with the Easel card
Our Creative Corner had the color combo of Blue and Green, any shades.
There She Goes wanted 3 different types of embellishment
Hand Full Of Stamps wanted Polka Dots and the scalloped mat has a polka dot pattern
I just had to use a house from the fabulous New House Collection at Lily Boos. It was hard to chose which of the super cute houses to color but I thought I'd start with the flowerpot house and I'm sure I'll be doing some more really soon.
The papers are from the Modern Basics page kit by Colorbok from Joanns. These were just clearanced out and I managed to grab a couple as I love the colors.
For the different textures I embossed the ribbon panel with the Victoria Cuttlebug folder, handmade a folded petal style flower and added chunky rick rack for another different feel.
The border punch is EK Success, the paper roses are Prima and the pearls are Queen & Co.
I added another rick rack and punched combo border to the inside of the card to help it stand. I also added a small message mat for you to send your greeting on.
I just love the Easel style of card and just think how the thrilled the recipient of this New Home card would be, they get a card and a decoration all in one!

It's Snowing! (Challenges that is!)
Happy Saturday,
This is one of those rare cards that I did just because I wanted to and not because of a Design Team commitment.
I love using my Magnolia stamps and there were a few challenges (19!) this week that just led me towards a new card with sweet Tilda as the star.
Everybody Art wanted Snowflakes
Stamp With Fun also wanted Snowflakes
Roses On Paper wanted Winter
Three Clovers also wanted Winter
Fussy and Fancy wanted Winter too
Stampin B's had a Winter Fun theme and I think the "punny" title makes this card a little fun :)
Stamp Something had a color combo of Blue and White
Basic Grey had a photo inspiration of a beautiful shades of blue room
Die Cuts R Us wanted you to use your Holiday Leftovers
Jacksonbelle wanted Bling!
Practical Scrappers wanted Bling too
Belli wanted Bling as well
Humblepie wanted 2 types of Bling and I used rhinestones and pearls.
Papertake had a great sketch
Tuesday Morning Sketches wanted to see Buttons and Bows
Creative Card Crew wanted to see Distressing
Creative Inspirations Callenge also wanted to see Distressing
Flutterby Wednesdays had an open theme as long as it is a Fairy, Butterfly or Angel
Stamping Vacation had a new Pick 3 challenge. I chose : An image with Wings, At least 1 gem or crystal, Any color you might see in the sky
I chose the super sweet "Love Tilda" but instead of traditional Valentines colors I chose a wintery color scheme to go with the themes from the challenges. I'm sorry I couldn't link her but my regular Magnolia sources don't seem to have her but she's from the Spring 2008 collection.
I colored her with Copic's and added a touch of silver Prismacolor to her wings and shoes.
I used scraps from both the Fruitcake and Eskimo Kisses collections by Basic Grey.
The snowflakes are Emagination punches, punched from American Crafts metallic cardstock. The ribbon is from Michaels and I printed out the sentiment in the Garamouche font.
All the panels are inked with Chalk Ink and the Rhinestones are Michaels $1 spot and the Pearls are Queen and Co.
The inside is more dp and a distressed message mat (that sounds funny!)
Here is a close up of Tilda in her Love sweater.
I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did making it.
Be sure to come back next week for lots of new cards.

There is a mistake in her coloring (I went out the line) but I've run out of Colorless Blender so I couldn't push it back in, oh well we're all human! LOL
Anyway I hope you go over and grab her as she really is super cute and as you can see she is perfect for Birthday Cards!
