I chose to the use super set of stamps from Unity that match the Jillibean Soup "Spotted Owl Soup" line of papers as they are so cute and I absolutely love the colors!
I made a hinged gift box topped with a rosette flower and a coordinating gatefold card with matching belly band :)

I added a punched trim and ribbon all around the box, I think the little finishing touches is what makes a project extra special.

This is a simple rosette flower using a strip of cardstock 1 1/2" by 12", punched and then scored and folded between the punch scallop design.
I added die cut accents and flowers and topped it with one of the super sweet stamp images.

Inside the box. You can see the box making tutorial HERE, you simply adjust it to the size you want to make the box. Mine has a base of 5” by 4” with 3” high sides.
So the starting piece would measure 11” by 10” with scores at 3” on all 4 sides.
Then making a matching lid (just a hair bigger than the base so it fits but isn't loose) and then attached the lid at the back with a coordinating piece of cardstock for a hinge. You need to snip the back two corners of the lid to create the opening action.

The card starts with a 6" by 12" of cardstock. Score at 3" and 9" and burnish. Punch the joining edges, matching up the punching as close as you can. Decorate as desired.

Inside I used another of the stamps from the set on the message panel.

I love this cake stamp so much that I just had to include it so I created a "belly band" to show it off. The band is also punched to match the card.

I embossed the oval mat before adding the colored image, another step that I think just adds a little something extra.
