A Spoon Full of Sugar - Tag You're It!

This week at A Spoon Full of Sugar we are challenging you to include Tags.
You could choose to add a tag to your card or make tags instead of (or as well as) a card.

I used 3 different sizes of the same style flower punch and after punching I put them through an embossing folder. Then I layered them and slightly cupped the petals up and added a rhinestone to the center.
These are all so cute and I think I'll add them to a scrapbook layout or two, or maybe save them for a special gift.

Designed 2 Delight Team Challenge - Paper Piecing - Christmas/Winter theme

Another favorite thing when making "snow" is for me to use Puffy Paint (the kind you heat and it puffs up). Before heating I sprinkle a fine layer of glitter to add a little extra sparkle.

Digital Delights - It's a BBQ Party!

Another Thursday has rolled around and so it means some more samples from the Digital Delights Team!
This time I decided to forgo a card and instead made a set of napkin rings for my next BBQ!!

These were super simple make and I think will look great on the table!
I simply printed out lots of images, colored them and cut them out.
Then I made a simply ring of cardstock topped with patterned paper and glued the images on top!
They were a fun project to make and would a great thing for any party, just switch out the images to match your party theme!

Remember you can use the sketch or the optional technique or both!



This particular stamp doesn't have the umbrella so I made one from a punch or two and I hope you like it.
The flower is made from 3 die cut flowers that were scored and then cut up one fold to the center and then accordion folded. You attached all three "fans" together to make the flower.
I hope you like this card and will join in with our Paper Piecing challenge.

This was the sketch although I left off the ribbon across the center as there was no room.



I paper pieced the wrapper on the cupcake from coordinating paper and inked all the papers for a softer feel.
The back diamond mat is embossed and ink added for more definition but you can't see too much of it.
I like making baby cards, I think I need to find a pregnant friend to give it to! LOL

This is the super sketch we had to work with:




I stamped Hannah with her sled and colored her and then cut her out to fit along with the sketch. I picked colors from the papers and I love how the soft mustard yellow and light aqua work together.
I embossed the back panel with one of the wonderful Basic Grey embossing folders and sanded it lightly to show the color through.
