Lily Boo Too Challenge - Spring has Sprung

Happy April 1st!
I'm not fooling about today as I have 3 posts to come so I better get started!

Delightful Sketches and Challenges - A New Sketch with Digital Delights New Releases!

Can you believe another month has passed and it's release time at Digital Delights again? The Design Team each worked with a new release image and were challenged to us the latest sketch.



And I got to work with Easter Egg Peyton!
There are other Easter images too and more from the International Children collection, you can find them all at Digital Delights and all with our newly lowered prices!

More Easter Fun from Digital Delights (Grab your shades for this one! LOL)

Happy Monday Everyone!
It's getting closer and closer to Chocolate Day, oops I mean Easter :), and Wendy has created some more super cute Easter designs that are just perfect for Easter cards, gifts, baskets and scrapbook pages too!
I couldn't resist the latest Boy and Girl especially as the boy reminds me so much of my 3 year old son Carter. In fact when he saw the card he said it was him and was insistant that the Easter Bunny would be bringing him an egg almost as big as he is!


As well as the cute images I had to include a few challenges too:

Challenge #12 at Cooking It Up!

Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another challenge over at my Cooking It Up With Katie card recipe blog.

This weeks recipe is:

Use the Decoupage/3D/Paper Tole technique (this is where you color more than one copy of the image and cut out and pop up certain parts to form a 3D image, for my English viewers you can use the preprinted sheets for this too)
Use some metal
Add the current challenge from your favorite blog

Remember the challenge includes all of the above and anything else you want to add.

Clearly I Stamp said It's Hip To Be Square and wanted a square card (and they are sponsored by Clear Dollar Stamps who are giving away a great prize!)

Pixie Dust wanted you to Think Birthday

Sassy Cheryls DT Call - Mother and Child

Happy Tuesday,
I know I'm already on lots of teams but I couldn't resist trying out for another.
Cheryl draws such wonderful images,I love them, so cute and sassy, just perfect for coloring.
So I treated myself to a few of these images and here is my try out card, wish me well!

Obviously I couldn't do it without the help of a few challenges!

Sweet Sketch Wednesday gave me a sketch
Copic Colour Challenge wanted R29, RV23 and B12 or in English (:)), Red, Pink and Blue
Sweet Stampin had a similar combo of Tempting Turquoise, Cameo Coral, Summer Sun, Real Red (use at least 3)
ABC is at N is for New and this is definitely a new image to me
Creative Inspirations wanted Leftovers
Crafty Creations wanted Friends
Allsorts had a your choice 3,2,1 recipe so I have 3 colors of flowers, 2 dp and 1 ribbon
Sassy Susie wanted Hearts and Flowers
Craft wanted Digital Coloring
Dare U2 Digi wanted Punches and a digi image
Ooh La La wanted Love and this time I did the love between and mother and her child
Lots to Do had a "Love is in the Air" theme

I Love Spring with Tilda!

I hope you are having a wonderful romantic day!
Today I have a "Love" card but not a Valentines card.

There were still a lot of Valentines challenges floating around on the web but I found a few non-Valentines that worked for this one:

Humblepie want to see you use your Dies
No Time to Stamp wanted Purple and Green
Allsorts had a your choice 3,2,1 recipe so I have a 3 part sentiment, 2 dp and 1 image
Pile It On had a "Let Us See Your Flowers" theme
Magnolia Down Under wanted Buttons, Bows and Flowers, Tilda has buttons on her shirt, bows in her hair and there are flowers on the card!

Pile It On - Happy New Year!

Happy Sunday!
It's time to get back to business with the 1st challenge of 2010 for Pile It On and the theme is Happy New Year! Of course you must combine it with other challenges or else you won't be "Piling It On!"

I found a few to help me this week and the 1st is a brand new challenge blog.

Sassy Susie had a theme of Friends Old and New
Crafty Ann had a New Year theme too
365 Cards Day 312 had a "Metal Mania" theme
Ildi Co had a Scraps and Metal theme
Paper Play had a Precious Metals theme
Just Magnolia had a monthly challenge of Paper Pleating (and a Magnolia stamp)
Magnolia Down Under wanted a "Stamp with another use" and I used a Summer stamp on a New Years Card
Crafty Card Makers wanted your favorites of 2009 and I have to say that discovering Magnolia stamps was a breakthrough in my cardmaking and is definitely a favorite of mine.
Frosted Designs had an Ink challenge and I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp Tilda
Flutterby wanted to see "New" along with a Fairy, Butterfly or Angel and this Tilda certainly has her Angel Wings showing
Easy Breezy Kewl had a color combo of Soft Suede, Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Kraft and Bravo Burgundy
Pals Paper Arts had a great sketch



This is a Tilda from a previous years release but she's new to me and the first time I'm used her. She's called Tilda With Watering Can and I colored her with Copic's.
The dp is K@Co and the metal phrase is Making Memories.

Challenge #7 at Cooking It Up!

Wow the weeks are flying by!
I can't believe we are on the 7th challenge at my Cooking It Up With Katie blog.
I'd love some more entrants and this could be the challenge to try as I'm offering a prize so run over and check it out!

The recipe is:
Use a Christmas theme
Add Ribbon
Use any current sketch challenge

Stampin For The Weekend want a Christmas card with Red, Green and Gold
Creative Card Crew also wanted Gold (or Silver)
Color Chef had the combo of Red, Green and Cream/White
Charisma had a color combo of Red, Green and White/Silver
Rosie Dees wanted Red, Green and Bling!
Sunflowers and Dragonflies had a theme of Merry Christmas
365 Cards Day 280 had the theme of "Candy Cane"
Cupcake Crafts had the theme of a "Christmas Carol"
Die Cuts R Us wanted a project with a "Holiday Feel"
Just Magnolia had a special monthly challenge of "Make a card for Someone Special", well I'd feel pretty special if I received this card.


I stamped Tilda Sitting With Candy and colored her with Copic's. Then I cut her out and made a present for her to sit on.
The dp is a mixture of Paper Studio and Joanns.
The border punch is from Martha Stewart.

Let's get a Little Dotti! - New Sketch Challenge at My Grafico

Happy Wednesday,
It's the 1st of 3 different posts today so be sure to keep checking for all of them.
This week at My Grafico we got to work with a fabulous set called Dotti!
It was a super sketch to work with and I hope you pop along at join in the challenge too!

Flutterby Wednesday wants a Butterfly, a Fairy or an Angel with circles
Alphabet Challenge were at F is for Flowers and I added a layered flower under the sentiment.

I colroed the image with Copic's and I think Dotti is blowing this star full of Christmas Joy right to you!
The dp is from the Peppermint Forest Stack from Joanns.
The border punch is from Martha Stewart.
I printed out the sentiment and cut it with a Label Nestie.
The flowers are Prima.
