Together Is A Wonderful Place to Be - Invitation Tilda

Wow what a week it has been here, so busy that I seem to meet myself coming back in the opposite direction! Running back and forth to school for marching band practice, getting school clothes, haircuts, and hopefully today we will get a last trip in with a visit to the Dallas World Aquarium
But somehow I managed to fit in a little extra card using the super sweet Invitation Tilda, I can't believe I hadn't inked her up before.
I thought she looked like she could be writing a letter to a very special someone and so that is the theme I went with.

Magnolia Down Under - Inspiration photo (white flowers, soft colors and little shabby chic style)
The Shabby Tearoom - Material Girl (Blue, Green, White, Fabric and Flowers)
Love to Scrap - Bingo! (Lace, Sentiment, Embossing)(2 entries only)
Happy Campers - Use a Stamp (3 entries only)
Lovely Hanglar and Sweet Magnolia - Punches/Dies
Pennys - Dies/Punches
Addicted to Stamps - Shabby Chic/Vintage
Crafty Creations - Shabby Chic
Flutterby Wednesday - Emboss (heat or dry)(and butterfly or fairy)
Fab N Funky - Stick It! (sentiment is a sticker)
Marvelous Magnolia - Lots of Lovely Layers
Little Red Wagon - Layers

Card Recipe:
Image -Invitation Tilda
Medium - Copic Markers
Paper - The Linen Closet by DCWV
Glitter Cardstock - The Paper Company
Sentiment - 3 Bugs in a Rug
Die Cuts - Lacy Circle by Spellbinders and Floral Vine by Memory Box
Lace Fabric - Joanns
Rose Trim - Hobby Lobby
Trim - May Arts
Flower - Prima
Butterflies - Recollections
Pearls - Recollections
Embossing Enamel - Shabby Blue by Stampendous

The base of the card was covered with some gorgeous lace fabric that I have had for a while, I bought it when it was on sale and 1 yard goes a long way!
I added a little embossing enamel around the edge of the image and all the edges of the card base to add a little shabby style to the card, I love the effect it gives.
Anyway be back tomorrow for a Pink Gem card and I hope if you have last minute Back to School stuff to do that your weekend goes well :)
