I decided to make a Twisted Easel card featuring 3 of the stamps from the Merry Little Christmas set. I cut out the two characters and placed them in a snowy scene.

Here I am with the fourth and final card from the gorgeous new releases in the Clear Stamps at Cuddly Buddly
I went with a pretty clean and simple design (compared to my other cards anyway), and stamped a trio of trees from the Jolly Santa Set as the focal point of the card.

Coloring with Copic markers on Kraft colored paper is certainly a little different from on white but I love the soft and vintage feel it gives to the image and the whole card.

New Team and New Releases! - Cuddly Buddly - Ho Ho Ho Santa Tri-Panel

Two posts in one day and this one is extra exciting!
I am very happy to announce that I am now a Design Team Member for the Cuddly Buddly Clear Stamps Team!

I have worked with Kim in the past and when she placed a DT call out I knew I had to give it a try and luck was on my side!
Cuddly Buddly is an UK based craft store with a huge inventory of everything a crafter could want. Kim has been designing digital images for years and this year has branched into clear stamps and they are just a dream! If you would like to see your local craft supplier stock them then just drop Kim a line and let her know!
The 1st release is right now and they are a selection of the cutest Christmas/Winter images around!

I created a super simple tri-panel fold for this card, works really well with smaller images, the perfect showcase for this adorable Santa from the Jolly Santa Set.

The card opens out to reveal a message panel perfect for your own special greeting.

I added Puffy Paint to Santa on his trim and used my heat gun to puff it up for some extra texture.

Wish Love Believe - Cuddly Buddly Design Team Call Entry

Today I decided to throw my hat in the ring for the new clear stamp design team at Cuddly Buddly
I have been a big fan of CB for years, they were among the first digital stamps I ever colored.
Not they are branching into the clear stamp market on a worldwide basis and I wish Kim all the best with this new venture!
For the call we had to pick one of the digital or clear stamp images and create a card and "a little something else". For my "something else" I went with an exploding box in coordinating papers and of course some daisies :)

Now seriously how cute is this little fairy? She just makes me smile so much, she was a joy to color (even I can see I am getting better on the hair and face thanks to Lori Craig) and I just had to add some glitter to make her sparkle just that little bit more.
The exploding box was a very simple design using a 12" by 12" piece of cardstock scored at 4" and 8" on all sides using my trusty Scor-Pal. I then decorated with the same papers used on the card and added some die cut and punched daisies to go with the card theme.
