I used one of my new favorite techniques on this card and that is using a piece of lace fabric over the whole of the designer paper background. I think it adds a soft, subtle look and turns a good card into a wow one!

It is so hard to get a good photograph of an easel card but I've taken a few shots so I hope you get a good view.

I inked all the edges of the mats and papers to go along with the Shabby Chic style but not too "grungy" as the image is so sweet and gentle.

I added another gorgeous Bronte Bloom to the message mat, I adore these flowers!

I've had this Tilda since she was released but, shame on me, I'd never made a card with her until now!

More gorgeous flowers, a die cut border and an embossed mat.
I had a lot of fun with this card and hope you love it too.

Sweet Snowdrops - Guest Designer at Pink Gem Designs!

It looks like it will be a very busy year for me crafting wise and I can't wait!
Just before I left for England I got a very nice email from Janet at Pink Gem Designs asking me if I'd like to join them as a Guest Designer for 3 months.
I was super excited when Janet asked me to join in as I love their designs! I discovered Pink Gem Designs 2 years ago in a British card magazine and was hooked from the start! The images are so cute and I hope you enjoy my cards for them this 1st quarter of the new year.

I popped the scalloped circle up on a piece of foam for a little extra dimension.
