6 Challenges in 1 card!

Happy Hump Day!
There are so many cool challenge blogs around these days that I don't have time to do a card for each one that takes my eye. Well I noticed that many allow you to combine challenges with those from other blogs so today's card makes the most of that.
In fact there is a new blog that actually wants you to combine!
Pile It On gives you a challenge but wants you to use it with as many others as you can :)
So today's card fills the following challenges;
Pile It On - Use 2 Ribbons
Just Magnolia - Paper Piecing
Charisma Cardz - Something Yummy
Copic Creations - Wood
Three Clovers - Paper Piecing
Sketch Saturday - Sketch

It feels so good to have some many crossed off my list!LOL

It was fun to do all the challenges at once and I hope I pulled it off OK.
I used Tilda with Cowberry Muffin and colored her with Copic's and paper pieced her dress and muffin.
The papers are DCMV Nana's Kitchen.

I used some coordinating papers for the inside.
I hope you like her and I hope it inspires you to try and combine some of the wonderful challenges out there in blog land :)
I also wanted to give you a heads up that I sell my cards on eBay and you can see the ones I have right now HERE
Over the Summer I will be listing every Tuesday evening and even if you aren't a buyer it's always fun to take a look as there are cards there that you won't have seen here on my blog as I don't have time to share them all.
Have a happy day!

Add a little Mojo to your life!

I told you there'd be two posts today!
I can't believe I've done challenges everyday this week and for this challenge I actually made two cards.
Mojo Monday had a sketch that I thought would be simple to do but it really was a struggle but I completed it!

This time I used the cute house from Alota Stamps that you can get at Magnolia-lious. Again i used my Copics and more Green Stack papers.

For this one I used a Lelo stamp from Stampavie and colored her with my Copic's. The sentiment was from Fiskars and the papers are again from the Green Stack.

Sorry for the short commentary but I have to be at a Girl Scout picnic in an hour and I'm running out of time!

A Little Something for the Man in your life :)

Over at Three Clovers Kerry posted a challenge that we all need to do more of...make manly cards! I know how easy it is to get out the cute girly stamps and make sweet cards but we must not forget the men in our lives:)

I happened across this lighthouse stamp in the clearance section at Hobby Lobby and just had to have it. I knew it needed to be subtley colored and so I used my Bruynzeel pencils and OMS this time. I'm a huge Basic Grey fan but sometimes find them hard to use on cards as the images are large and get lost in the smaller scale of a card but these ones worked. The challenge included using metal and I cheated a little as the brads are fabric covered but they are metal underneath :)

I used used more dp on the inside as I said I love BG!

This will be a double post day as I have another challenge card (two actually) to share as well.
Have a great Saturday!

Stampavie dt challenge

I do so love coloring in the Sarah Kay images.
It always takes me back to being a child. In the 70's in England you could collect Sarah Kay stickers in an album. You bought them in packs of 3 (or was it 5?) at the local newsagent (that's a store selling newspapers, magazines, cards and candy to those non-Brits :)) and had a big album that you matched the numbers up with to save them in. All the girls at school collected them too so it was easy to find someone to swap your extras with. I remember filling mine completely and I think my Mum still has it in a box somewhere. So everytime I stamp a SK image it lets me relive a slower, more carefree time in my life.
I loved the sketch for Stampavies 5th challenge and just inked up a stamp and gave it a go.

I used more papers from the wonderful Green Stack ,flowers from the bridal department at Michaels and a sentiment in an epoxy sticker from Cloud 9.

The inside just showcases the wonderful designs on the paper and I made a coordinating envelope.
I hope you like it and didn't mind my short trip down Memory Lane :)

Stormy Tuesday and another new card!

I was woken at 4am this morning with thunder and lightning, nothing unusual for Texas but unwelcome in the middle of the night.
The weather continued to rumble as was still threatening at 7am when we all got up.
By 9am it was "throwing it down", a good English phrase for raining heavily and the temps in the house dropped from 80 to 70 so hurray no AC today!
It seems like a happy coincedence as yesterday I used my Tilda in Spring Rain for the first time and that's what I'm sharing today!

I thought I'd share the inside too. I haven't graduated to added stamped images on the inside yet but I do like to coordinate the inners and outers :)

She was quite hard to color, I just couldn't work out shadows on the stripes so I had to sweep over with the blender and leave it at that.
I did this card using the sketch on the super new blog Magnolia-Licious Highlights
The dp are DCWV from The Green Stack which I absolutely love. The papers are all textured and they are 70% recycled so I can feel good about using them. The flowers are the Fairytale collection from Prima, the ribbon is Offray, the border punch is EK Success and the sentiment another $1 bin one from Michaels.
I hope you all have a great and safe day no matter what your weather brings.

Sunny Monday

Hope your week has got off to a great start!
School ends on Thursday here, then my son and husband go off to Scout camp on Sunday and our daughter goes to Choir day camp so I get an extra week, sort of, before the sibling bickering starts :)
To celebrate the wonderful sun shining above me here in TX today I thought I share one of my favorite Tilda's.
I made this a while and know I used a someone's sketch but I can't remember whose it was, sorry!

She was colored with Copics, the dp is Making Memories, the trim is from Wally World and the sentiment is from a $1 set at Michaels.
I'm working on joining in challenges this week so be sure to check back as the sketches on the blogs this week are great!
Have a great Monday!

Entering my first challenge!

I've been following challenge blogs for a while now and while I get ideas from them I haven't submitted anything yet.
Well now I have my own blog I have no excuses anymore for not joining in.
So I'm throwing my card in the ring for the Blonde Hair challenge at Copic Creations

I love these Sarah Kay images and this one was fun to color and I hope you like her too. I used one of my favorite punches, Apron Lace, and tried my hand at a hatpin too!
Hope you have a wonderful SUnday!
