Something I've never done before ;)

Happy Sunday,
If you were here yesterday you'll know I hinted that today's card would be a 1st for me and it most definitely is.
I remember last year when there seemed to be a glut of "White on White" challenges floating around the blogs. Well I was very new to cardmaking then and was completely intimidated by that challenge and didn't even try one out.
Fast forward to now and I spot a challenge with the "White on White" challenge and I say to myself "I never did do one of those last year, dare I try now?
Well I realized it was time to face the challenge and give it a go.
It was just as hard as I thought it would be but I think it turned out alright in the end.

There was no way I could face the challenge alone so I found some more to help me out.

Charisma had a White on White challenge
Tuesday Throwdown wanted Monochromatic
Scrap and Stamp Saturday also wanted Monochromatic
Practical Scrappers wanted Die Cuts
Pals Paper Arts had a Snowflake challenge (I embossed a panel with snowflakes, I hope that counts, and of course snowflakes are white after all! LOL)
Frosted Designs wanted Embossing
Friday Sketchers had a sketch
Just Magnolia wanted Hearts and Flowers
Fussy and Fancy wanted Hearts
The Secret Crafter wanted Hearts
Humble Pie wanted you to "Get Flowery" with at least 5 flowers (I used 3 to make each flower so that makes 9)
Cute Card Thursday had a "Blooming Gorgeous" theme
My Time To Craft had an Elegant Rose theme
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle had a Free week
Lil Red Wagon wanted to see Hearts
Doodle Palace wantd something New and this whole color concept was New to me
Alphabet Challenge were at N is for New
Creative Inspirations wanted something Feminine

Of course when facing a challenge that is hard for me I fall back on some trusty items and so of course I had to use a Magnolia stamp. This little beauty is called Christmas Morning and I can't find in stock at the usual places but maybe you already bought her before Christmas. I colored her with the "white" Copic's, E40, 41 and 42.
The snowflake embossing folder is from the Holiday set from HSN.
The heart border punch is Martha Stewart.
All the flowers are from the bridal department at Joanns and Michaels.
The back embossed panel is a pre-embossed notecard from Michaels.
And shock, I didn't do anything on the inside this time!

Here is a close up, it was hard chosing colors that went with White but I think she looks very ethereal and certainly quite angelic :)

If you like my Tilda cards then you HAVE to come back tomorrow as I have a project with 15 Tilda's on it and there will be a little competition with some blog candy relating to it.
Have a great rest of your Sunday.

La La Lands Guest DT- Pink Challenge

Happy Wednesday!
I was very honored to be asked to join as a Guest Designer at La La Lands for November and December!
If you're a follower of mine you'll know that most weeks I join their challenges and have won on a few occasions too!
So it was easy to say yes and today is my very first card in my guesting role.
And the challenge was a super one for me as it was to use the color Pink!
Of course I had to add a few other challenges along the way.
Three Clovers wanted a card/project for a Teenager.
Stamps and Smiles gave me the sketch
Hand Full Of Stamps wanted 4 of something
Daring Cardmakers wanted you to Get Punchy
Fun With Shapes and More wanted Frames and Borders
Die Cuts R Us wanted you to "Nest Something"
Kraftin Kimmie said "Tag You're It!"
One Stop Craft wanted to see you use Text Paper
Saturday Spotlight wanted the theme of "In So Many Words" and I think the background text paper works here :)

I used the super cute Sweet LaLa and in fact she's the first LaLa Lands stamp I've created a card with!
I colored her twice with Copic's and cut out and popped up on image on the other for dimension.
I've used 3 different dp, 2 are DCWV and the other is a Paper Pizazz. I love that with card making you can use papers from years ago and as long as your style and design is current it all works!
I used fabric brads for the "4" challenge and I framed LaLa with a Nestie and added a border using the wonderful Valentines Lace border punch from Martha Stewart.
The sentiment is from The Paper Studio mounted on a vellum heart tag from Making Memories.

Inside is more dp and a message mat.

You cna see the shadow formed by the "popping" of LaLa and I hope you like her.
I'd love to see your Pink Creation so be sure to drop by La La Lands and join in the fun!

Happy Monday!
It's time for another challenge over at Cute Daisy May and have the ladies got some treats for you!
This weeks theme is "Pink Christmas" and it gives you an excuse to get all girly and sparkly and frothy!
I used a wonderful image from Sheet 2 and she sure is a cutie!

Of course I had to add some more challenges to the card :)
A Spoon Full Of Sugar had a Christmas theme.
Bee Crafty also had a Christmas theme
Cute Card Thursday wanted a Pinch and a Punch so a card relating to a "First" and I think this is a perfect "1st Christmas" card
Creative Inspirations wanted Letters/Numbers and I think my "1st" counts as a number don't you?
Colour Create had the color scheme of Hot Pink, Dusky Pink and Ice Chocolate
Stamps and Smiles gave me the sketch
Three Clovers wanted us to Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Creative Card Crew wanted "All that Sparkles" and her wings and star are definitely sparkly!
ABC is at E for Embossing
Crazy 4 Challenges wanted you to be Sew Happy and use real or faux stitching on your card
Charisma Cardz wanted the Decoupage techinique

I colored the image with Copic's twice and then cut out parts and decoupaged them.
The papers are The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
The ribbon is from the new Christmas collection at Michaels. The medallion punch is from Martha Stewart and I embossed snowflakes on them from a Cuttlebug 2" folder. I added pink rhinestones from Michaels $1 spot.

The inside is more dp with a message mat trimmed with faux stitching.

Here you can see the popped up parts of the image.

I'd love you to get a start on your Christmas cards and this weeks challenge is the perfect start.
Hope to see you over there!
