I colored the buttons on the flowers, the pearls, the heart brads and the ribbon all with Copic markers to match the image.
The paper roses have been distressed with chalk ink and a little marker added too.

More of the cute dp inside with a message mat.

I don't know if you can see but Tilda has shiny boots and umbrella and glossy accents on the raindrops too.

Happy Superbowl Sunday!
I'm sure you are getting in the mood for love with Valentines Day just around the corner.
Along with many other challenges the team at Pile It On would love to see your creations with the theme of "To The One You Love".
As you know the Pile It On philosophy is to add as many challenges as you can in the creation of your project and I've added the following (30!) to this card:

I decided to make this card just for my hubby and chose this hilarious image from The Digi Shack who are having a super sale right now. I colored the image with a combo of Copic's and paper piecing (made super easy as you can print the image directly on to the paper).
The dp is Scrapworks "Love in Bloom" Stripes.
Hearts border punch is by Martha Stewart and the pearls are Queen and Co.

I made this into an easel card as it will stand up perfectly on my hubby's desk at work and everyone can see what a wonderful wife he has! LOL

I hope you've liked this one and I'd love to see you "Pile It On" this week with the challenge.

By The Cute and Girly Challenge #2!

Happy November!
Another month has passed and it's time for a new challenge at By The Cute and Girly!
This months theme is Winter Wonderland which gives you the opportunity to get out all the sparkly stuff, snowflakes, ribbons and more.

I found another challenge that these projects worked for too.
Use Your Stash wanted something old and I've had this Snowman for two years just waiting to be dressed up!
Scrap, Stamp and Doodle wanted "Anything But a Card"
Challenge Up Your Life wanted you to "Pimp It Up" which in their defintion was make something prettier than it was originally.

This started life as a plain chipboard album in the shape of a snowman.
I used the supr new Basic Grey papers called Eskimo Kisses and then I found lots of embellishments from my over flowing Christmas/Winter colelction.

This is the other side of the album.
Some of the products are Mary Engelbriet 3D stickers, Prima flowers, printed brads and more.

Next comes a wooden snowman that I've had for a couple of years now.
He was really simple to do. I painted his head and hands and added more Basic Grey paper to his body. I added Basic Grey buttons with twine and finally I used faux stitching all around him for a little homemade style.

You can enter any type of craft you like at By The Cute and Girly! so please go and raid you stash, get creating and go share it with all of us, who know's you may win a great prize!
