All I Want for (a Pink) Christmas....Is You!

It's time for a super sweet Christmas card and this time it's not a Christmas image but I just love it.
And although I really like the traditional colors for Christmas I must admit to loving last years Basic Grey image Eskimo Kisses and the pink theme that runs through it.

Challenges:
Crafty Creations - Buttons
Creative Cottage - Someone Special at Christmas
Paper Playtime - PS I Love You
Lollipop Crafts - Girlie
Crafty Emma's - Pink
Polly Craft - A Glittery Christmas
Creative Inspirations - A Pink Christmas
Thrilling Thursday - Anything Goes Christmas Theme
The Stampman - Christmas
Scrapbook Sisters - Christmas
Creative Inspirations - Christmas or Winter
Anything Goes - Embossing (I embossed the image before coloring as I used Versafine ink that smudges with Copic's unless embossed)
Passionately Artistic - Linky Party (link any and all your projects)
Fresh Brewed - 2 of More Patterned Papers
The Paper Variety - 1 color of mist/Paint, 2 flowers or chipboard pieces and 3 patterned papers
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes

Sentimental Sundays - Childhood

Card Recipe:
Image - Sweet Dreams by Penny Johnson
Paper - DCWV Eskimo Kisses
Medium - Copic Markers
Die Cut - Beaded Circles by Spellbinders
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Border Punch - French Scroll by Martha Stewart
Mist - Homemade with Viva Precious Metal Color Paint in Mother of Pearl
Glitter - Glamor Dust

I see many of my English cardmaking friends using Glamour Dust on their cards and although Decor are an American company you don't see it in the big box stores very often, so it was wonderful to see it in Hobby Lobby in the Christmas department.
I used Elmers glue pen under the the glitter and it worked wonderfully. I only have the Crystal and the Gold but I'm sure I'll be using them both on many cards before Christmas comes :)

Today I have 1 card and 1 mini album being published online!
My Pumpkin card is at Scrapbook News and Review and my Harvest album is at Scrapbooking.com and I am very happy about it!

EDITED: I found the album link at Scrapbooking.com.
Please be sure to come back everyday this week as there are new cards every day so plenty to see!

Anything Goes! 2 new Busy Beauties Cards!

Happy Friday!
There is a story behind these cards:)
It started with a challenge win at Penny's Challenge that introduced me to the wonderful creations at Busy Beauties! I got 5 new images from them and just had to give one a try right away. With that card I entered their challenge and low and behold I won! So I got more of the wonderful images!
Then move on to another challenge that I'm a team member on. We had a challenge but the images we needed to use were held up and I really needed to get my card finished. So I made the card with all but the image and I colored in two substitute images in case the original didn't turn up in time. Well just as I'd finished the two images the original popped up in my inbox! So I was left with two cute colored images and no cards to put them on.
I didn't put them away though, I left them on my desk as I so wanted to do something with them.
I had a day away from crafting on Wednesday to do a very late (and very needed) Spring Clean but yesterday I was determined to create a couple of dazzlers to share with y'all (said in my very best Texas accent ;))

Just Because - Relax with Mr Mouse :)

Happy Saturday Everyone!
I hope you are having lovely Spring weather, we are here in Texas, the usual storms have not yet arrived so we are enjoying sunshine and warmer temps. One thing that is not so good though are the dreaded weeds, I feel we are fighting a loosing battle and we've had to resort to spraying them as they just popped up too fast to pull them out.
After an afternoon of yard work I feel the need for a little R & R, just like the little character on my card today.
He is a new image from Meljens Design and he sure is a cutie!

I found a few challenges to go along with him:

Stamp With Fun - 3 Papers, 3 Flowers and 2 Buttons
Mojo Monday - Sketch
The Pink Elephant - Nature
Stamp With Sarah Kay - Green
Creative Cottage - Buttons and Bows
CRAFT - Buttons
By The Cute and Girly - Fairytales (I definitely think a mouse under toadstool would be reading a fairy tale :))
Practical Scrappers want to see markers
Simon Says Stamp want a Card for A Child
Handfull Of Stamps want you to Digi It
Papercutz want 3 patterned papers

Card Recipe:
Image - Mushroom Mouse by Meljens Designs

Inside is more of the gorgeous glittered dp and a message mat.
